This guide is for all current steam achievements. It also includes some general suggestions on achievement map / mapping. Section 1 Welcome: For entering the Game . :) Just Business: Selling stuff to a merchant. Trustworthy: this one may be buggy. I wasn't able to obtain it. The requirements is that you complete a Random Quest. Random Quests can be obtained by doing quests for Named Units. The End Is Just the Beginning: Complete the Game. 2nd Playthrough: Suggested Mode: SANDBOX: this one may be buggy. You need to complete your second playthrough on Difficulty 1 or higher. Stacks well with the Nameless achievement, and with the Spend One Year in game achievement. Also stacks well with obtaining all Legacy Point Rewards. A Bigger Challenge: Just complete the game on Difficulty 2. Difficulty Modes are unlocked by completing the game. They're selectable on the Legacy Rewards Menu. This menu is available during Character Creation. Selecting higher difficulties, offer you additional Legacy Reward Points, based on selected difficulty. Difficulty starts at No Difficulty and goes up to infinetely, plateuing at 5. Come At Me: START a game on Difficulty 5. You can choose to complete the game, but you don't have to. The True Spiritmancer: Class Required: Spiritmancer. Game Mode Required: Story Mode. Just do the Spiritmancer's EX quests. Save his companion when given the choice. Bounty Hunter's Wit: Class Required: Jackal. Game Mode Required: Story Mode. Complete the Jackal's EX quests. His first achievement (this one) can be completed in Sandbox, but his second achievement, cannot. Standalone: Make a faction by conquering any town. You can also obtain this one by starting the game as a Sultan and playing up to the point he is given a faction (first five minutes). With An Army: All you have to do is join any faction. This can be canceled out by save scumming, if you don't want to join a Faction. Leaving the faction will result in negative Friendship Points with that faction. Lover: There are many bar women... I've never met a bar man. The best bar woman is the one in Redstone Keep. Her name is Fadia. Once you become her lover, you'll be able to Obtain a Phoenix, which is needed to obtain another achievement. You don't have to be her lover to obtain the phoenix. You do need 99 Friendship Points with her in order to obtain the Phoenix, and these Friendship Points are more easily maintained with a lover. Take note that Friendship Points will lower with time. So you'll need to regularly check up on her (like once a month-ish). Exploration Map Achievements: These are just for defeating bosses tied to different towns. Each achievement is also a Legacy Point Reward (currently (June 24 2022)). To access the boss, just create your own faction, defeat the named town in the achievement, go to the Tribal Hall, and talk to the Mysterious Witch. These dungeons are difficult, with a Suggested Level of 20. Recruit X Achievements: All of these monsters are obtained from high level dungeons as a reward. You can save scum for the reward. The phoenix has the lowest drop chance in my experience. After you've obtained this unit, you need to level them up to the required T6 level. You can only have two T6 units at a time, even if you store them in your towns. So choose wisely. Here are all the beasts currently required, and the enemy needed to defeat them: Poison Dragon: this enemy is located in West Docana Desert. Fire Dragon: Enemy located in Umbra Cliffs. Ice Dragon: Enemy located in Zargos Mountains. Demon: The Fallen one who is a secret boss in Redstone. Special Note: If you use a mod to obtain these T6 units, the achievement will not pop. Upgrading the units to T6 is required. Time Flies: one year of time has passed in-game. May take a handful of days longer than 352. I got mine at 360. This achievement DOES stack with the "spend one year in game in sandbox mode" achievement. Witch's Belief: translation issue. Class Required: Spiritwitch. Mode Required: Story. Please save regularly and create backups if you're playing on Expert Mode. You'll eventually become imprisoned in a prison where you have to talk to stones. In order to escape the first time, I recommend save scumming. The puzzle isn't hard. Just stick to the center, the center stone will ask you why you wanted to be a SpiritWitch and you must continually answer "because that is what you want (paraphrased)." Yaksha's Wish: Required Class: Shaman. Required Mode: Story Mode. Just continue the EX quest until you're finished. You can obtain her through randomly recruiting her. There is no way to determine where she is. Eventually she will join a faction, and you can perhaps use your Intel menu to see which Faction she's in. Or you can also ask faction leaders, questions about their faction members. If she's friends with any of the leaders, you can use dialogue with the leaders in order to directly talk to Yaksha. If you recruit her in Sandbox Mode, the achievement will not pop (tested). Fated To Meet: Required Class: Jackal. Required Mode: Story Mode. She's a decent unit! All you have to do is all of the Jackal's quests. Progress the main quest until you get to the part where the Poison Faction's leader asks you to find Dahlia. When given the option, choose to save her. This achievement is unobtainable if you have defeated the Poison Faction. You can also not choose to save Dahlia if your Party is full. Make sure there's room to recruit her. If you somehow find a way to recruit her in Sandbox Mode, the achievement will not pop. If his personal quest extends beyond saving Dahlia, I do not know. I dropped the playthrough immediately after recruiting Dahlia and getting the related Jackal achievement. Ancient Machina Master: Required Class: Sultan: Suggested Mode: SANDBOX. Suggested difficulty: Just maintain and level up your main city that you obtain when you start your game. This isn't tied to the Sultan's quest at all, so it can be completed in Sandbox Mode. His main quest can be completed in Sandbox Mode as well. In Story Mode, if his class quest extends past finding the Epoch Reed, I do not know. I dropped the playthrough after "winning" sandbox mode and also after obtain the related Sultan achievement... In order to Obtain the Epoch Reed, you must endure all the assaults related to his EX quest. Afterwards, you must build a specific building in your main town. The building lies on the western part of the field. Currently (June 24 2022), you can't place the building, without downloading a mod which increases your zoom out capability. I found the mod by going to the Mod Workshop. The Mod Workshop's search function is a bit buggy at the moment. I found the mod by searching through "Most Subscribed" and searching "fov" which stands for field of vision. Nameless Epic: complete the plot mode of the Nameless in epic level. All you have to do is complete the mode with a Nameless Class with the Epic modifier turned on (which can be turned on in character creation. This achievement is an excellent Difficulty 1 achievement, and should be stacked with any difficulty above Difficulty 0. I believe it needs to be done in Story Mode (needs confirmation). Epic Mode is unlocked by completing the game in Hard Mode (needs confirmation). Section 2 It appears that Steam might have some sort of character cap for writing guides, so I'll split my guide up into sections.. Star Brawler: win 5 consecutive tavern fights in a row. Tournament Champion: tournaments are random events typically hosted by a faction. So the more factions that have not yet been defeated, the higher chance of an event occurring. Your own faction can also host tournaments, randomly. Treasure Master: Some cities are called Bazaars. These are not where you need to buy goods. You need to wait until an event occurs, and purchase items from the bazaar. To save money, you can save scum the final purchases. I was lucky enough to get this achievement done in one bazaar. The bazaar stocks daily and lasts for a certain number of days. It may take multiple bazaar events to purchase 20 items, and it does take multiple days. Well Promoted: Join any faction. My favorite faction is the wolf faction because their t6 unit is a summoner and melee class. A rare and powerful combo. The Nasir is also an excellent choice. Their faction ability allows all their units to gain extra XP, which is great for conquest and defense. Nasir Hawkers are a unit which deal a LOT of damage, as well. I am unsure as to why. Their stats, Active skills, and passive skills seem very average. They are a mounted unit, so perhaps their movement speed contributes to their damage. In order to obtain these, you must be highly trusted with your selected faction. (needs confirmation). And your rank with the faction must also be high (needs confirmation). It's possible to obtain these units, without being a part of the Nasir faction, although the opportunity is rare. (needs confirmation). Oh but yeah. The actual achievement. It's gained from gaining Devotion with the faction. You cannot create the faction, yourself. The Sultan can also not obtain this achievement. This achievement stacks well with the "spend one year in game," "spend one year in sandbox mode," as well as all of the Legacy Point Rewards. To gain devotion, the best and only talent in the game, allows you to earn 2 Devotion per week in the faction of your choosing (not your own, not Sultan playthrough). Once you're done with your playthrough (obtained the achievement for playing for one in-game year), you can obtain further Devotion by doing quests given by your Faction Leader. Hopefully you won't need to do this, because the process is very tedious. You must find your faction leader. People he is friends with, can access direct access to him, through dialogue. It is hard to keep up with these guys, quite honestly. You pretty much have to stalk them. And if they're busy, forget about talking to them. They have a chance of despawning after they've finished their combat. Also, it's somewhat important to save scum for these quests. Faction leaders have an assortment of 5 or 6 quests. The ones you need to do for Devotion, involve conquering towns (only the towns that the quest asks you to conquer), and recruiting Named Units (only the named units the quest asks you to obtain), within a certain number of days. The other quests will improve your Friendship with the Faction Leader. Make a Friend WIth someone: easiest achievement there is. Just start a playthrough as a Spiritmancer. They're given a Hero Unit, that is already their friend (has enough friendship points), thus granting the achievement. Glib Tongue: translation issue: What you need to do is recruit units of other factions, to a faction you created. Their rank needs to be captain or above (needs confirmation). In order to obtain Friendship points with a non-allied unit, you need to give them gifts, and also do quests/tasks for them. Faction Leaders cannot be recruited, until their faction is defeated. The achievement is specific about recruiting people outside your faction. Most quests will increase your Friendship Points, but high ranked Faction Members have a small chance of granting quests that provide other rewards. So stick with captains if possible. All faction members and their related faction ranks are listed under the Intel Menu, as well as where they generally hang out at (sometimes not accurate information.) Princess Speedy: Game Mode Required: Story Mode. You just gotta complete the Main Quest in 180 days. You can totally do this if you focus on leveling, gearing, main questing, and unit gearing. Spiritmancer is a solid choice, as he is typically capable of defeating opponents stronger than he is, because of his summons, the fact that he already starts with a Hero Unit, and his overwelming AoE and single target abilities. Recommended difficulty is Difficulty 0 or Difficulty 1. You need to complete the game with all difficulties below Difficulty 5, so choose whichever difficulty you think you can handle completing within 180 days. Quick-N Easy: The final boss is a bit meaty, and he has some defensive mechanics. Focus his adds and he becomes vulnerable to damage (needs confirmation). Best done with a ranged unit, as he will prioritize enemies closest to him. I did it with Spiritmancer. This one doesn't need to be stacked with Princess Speedy, meaning you can amass enough power to defeat the final boss within 180 seconds, with no time limit on how many days you played the game. Magic Master: translation issue. You need to use a character that can learn most of the Arcanas. I chose Spiritwitch. Arcana is restricted to characters who can learn Arcana. Masters can learn enough Arcana to gain this achievement. There are hidden restriction to what character can obtain which Arcanas, so it's best to obtain this achievement with the main character, and not a Hero. Dark and Light Arcanas cannot be learned, together (needs confirmation). Dragon Blood: Class Requirement: Shaman. Mode Requirement: Story. Just play as a Shaman, doing all of his Class Quests (EX quests), and make sure to choose DRAGON when doing the final part of his quest. You can only obtain one Ultimate Form, so if you dont wanna be a dragon, you will need to save scum to choose one of the other forms. This achievement can be obtained in Sandbox Mode, but his second achievement, cannot be obtained in Sandbox Mode (recruiting Yaksha). Whether or not this is a bug or is intended, is unknown. Salzaar Master: Stacks with Time Flies, as well as all the Legacy Point Rewards. Suggested Class: Sultan because his achievement can be obtained in Sandbox Mode. The Nameless can also complete their achievement of completing the game in Epic Mode in Sandbox Mode (needs confirmation). That's it for now.
