Grounded

Welcome, tiny adventurer, to the world of Grounded—where you’ve been shrunk down to the size of an ant, everything is out to kill you, and a soda can is now considered luxury real estate. If you ever wanted to experience what life is like as an insect without the whole "being squashed" thing, then you've come to the right place. Strap in, because this guide is here to take you through the highs, the lows, and the downright ridiculousness of surviving a backyard where a blade of grass is taller than a building and your worst enemy is a ladybug (or at least the second worst). 1. Size Doesn’t Matter (But It Totally Does) Let’s get this out of the way: you’re tiny. Like, "borrow sugar from ants" tiny. Everything in the backyard is now a giant death trap, and you’re the ultimate underdog. But don’t worry, being small has its perks: Sneakiness: You're basically a ninja, except slower, clumsier, and prone to getting stuck in spider webs. But you can hide in small places! Enjoy crawling into soda cans, under leaves, and into anthills (don’t actually do this—trust me). Perspective Change: Ever wanted to know what the world looks like from a beetle’s point of view? Well, now you know. And surprise! It’s mostly terrifying. The grass is like a jungle, acorns are houses, and dew drops are basically swimming pools. Enjoy the view as you panic. 2. The Art of Not Dying Your main goal is to not become spider food. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. The backyard is full of creatures that will squish, sting, or otherwise dismember you. Here’s how to avoid becoming mulch. Avoid Spiders (At All Costs): No matter how brave you think you are, there’s nothing like seeing a wolf spider the size of a minivan charge at you. Their eyes glow at night, which is both helpful and horrifying. If you see one? Just run. Or, if you’re like most people, scream, then run. Ants: Frenemies of the Backyard: Ants can be both helpful and nightmare-inducing. They’re like that one friend who helps you move, but then eats all your snacks. Worker ants? Friendly, curious, cute. Soldier ants? Hungry, aggressive, probably watching you right now. Pro tip: if you attack one, you're basically declaring war on their entire species. Beware of Bees: Bees look harmless from afar, until you get too close and they remember they have stingers the size of a sword. If you steal their nectar, they’ll hunt you down with a vengeance. Also, bees in this game are just big. Like “flying freight truck” big. 3. Building a Base (That Won’t Fall Over Immediately) Now that you’ve established you don’t want to be eaten, it’s time to set up shop! Building a base in Grounded is a delicate balance of craftsmanship and panic. Choosing the Right Spot: Ideally, you want to build somewhere safe, but let's be real: nowhere is safe. The best you can hope for is “probably won’t be destroyed by a beetle in the next 5 minutes.” Avoid building near spider dens or anthills unless you’re looking for constant, terrifying roommates. Grass: Your New Best Friend: The humble grass plank is the foundation of your new mini-life. It’s like Legos, but if Legos could be eaten by insects. Start small, build walls to keep the creepy crawlies out, and upgrade to stronger materials once you’re done hiding from the first bug that wanders by. Soda Can Mansions: You may find yourself thinking, “Why live in a boring old base when I can live in a can of pop?” This is a valid thought. Soda cans are prime real estate—elevated, safe from most bugs, and pre-furnished with the refreshing memory of sugary beverages. Just remember, your neighbors are likely ants who will not respect your property lines. 4. Mastering the Crafting System In the backyard, the world is your workshop. That is, if your workshop is made of sticks, bugs, and random trash. But don’t worry! With enough patience and a little bit of googling (because let’s face it, some of these recipes make no sense), you can build anything! Pebblet Tools: Ah, the pebblet—nature’s answer to “I have nothing better to work with.” Crafting your first pebblet axe feels like you’ve invented fire. You’ll use this to chop down grass and intimidate ants (which won’t work, but it's fun to try). Bug Armor: Want to wear a ladybug like a sweater? Well, now you can! Bug armor is essential for not dying, but it comes at the cost of some serious bug hunting. Pro tip: don’t try to fight a ladybug right away. It’ll punt you halfway across the backyard. Slime Mold Torches: Night is coming. And unless you enjoy stumbling into spiders in the dark, you’ll want a torch. Enter the slime mold torch, a sticky, glowing piece of gunk that barely lights your path but makes you feel slightly less terrified in the dark. Slightly. 5. The Creatures You’ll Encounter The backyard is teeming with wildlife—most of which want to kill you. Here’s what to expect: Aphids: The Cutest Annoyance: These little guys are like the squirrels of the backyard—constantly running, squeaking, and generally making you feel bad for even thinking about killing them for food. But when you’re starving and there’s no mushroom in sight, it’s aphid time, baby. Bombardier Beetles: The Backyard Tanks: When you hear “bombardier,” you should instantly start running. These beetles launch acid bombs at you like it’s going out of style. Think of them as the "tank class" of bugs, except no one asked for tanks in a game about a yard. Ladybugs: Surprisingly Hostile: You thought ladybugs were cute, didn’t you? WRONG. Ladybugs are nature’s bulldozers. If you hit one by accident (or on purpose, because you were feeling brave), prepare to be smashed into oblivion. 6. Exploring the World of Tiny Wonders It’s not all doom and gloom. The backyard is full of wonders that will make you feel like a miniature adventurer in a vast, oversized world. The Oak Tree: Home to an army of acorns and, of course, spiders the size of a Volkswagen. The Oak Tree is where you’ll find the Hedge Lab and likely develop a fear of large, scuttling legs. Climb carefully, because one wrong step and you're part of the web. The Mysterious Machine: Early in the game, you’ll come across what looks like a leftover project from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. This machine is your first clue that maybe, just maybe, someone (or something) is behind your current size predicament. Also, it’s the perfect place to accidentally zap yourself with electricity. Grubs and Larva: Sometimes the ground rumbles, and sometimes those rumbles turn into larvae erupting from the earth to wreck your base and your self-esteem. They're like the moles of the insect world, except worse in every conceivable way. 7. Food: From Gourmet Mushrooms to Grub Guts You’re small, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get hungry. Here’s a quick look at your gourmet options. Mushrooms: Delicious, plentiful, and won’t fight back when you try to eat them. They are your starter food, and you’ll find yourself munching on these fungal delights whenever you’re too lazy to chase an aphid. Roasted Weevil: Yes, this is a thing. Hunt a weevil, roast it, and boom, dinner is served. It’s like backyard BBQ, but way more gross and less Instagrammable. Nectar: If you’re lucky enough to find nectar, it’s basically liquid gold. But beware: bees will want it back, and trust me, they’re willing to fight for it. 8. Conclusion: Tiny Life, Big Adventure Surviving in Grounded is all about embracing the absurdity of being bug-sized in a world full of danger. Whether you’re wrestling with ants for your lunch or fleeing from a spider like it’s your worst nightmare (because it is), you’ll always have something to keep you on your toes. So, grab your pebblet axe, your bug parts armor, and dive into the backyard. You might be small, but you’re a survivor! Or at least, you’re good at running away from things. Either way, have fun! And remember: even if you die horribly, you can always respawn. Which, in the grand scheme of things, is a pretty great deal.

如果您先加载新游戏+的存档,将只剩下一个成就:Superpobeda(再次变大并在游戏结束时获得100%的进度)。
My list of Tips & Tricks! Please let me know if you have any to add :) (This guide contains some small spoilers.) General Enable wide interaction in settings to grab items easier Recover backpacks and cancel all nearby blueprints by pressing escape>game repair Use photo mode to pause the game in multiplayer (P on pc) Active mutations > all other Milk Molar upgrades Use the Resource Surveyor to check when anything has respawned Save Raw Science for new recipes, do not buy the sign sets. Shared worlds are useful for multiplayer but beware that no player will have access to the autosaves. Make sure to make manual copies of the shared world (This has been fixed) Use savestates!!! wasted potions and lost a boss fight? Roll back a save. Want to try out an expensive item? Create a save before crafting, and roll back if necessary. Redesigning your base? Create a save. (It may fall apart) You can increase the total number of auto-saves and the auto-save interval Mobility Aphid Slippers are a great early-to-lategame piece of armor to increase your sprinting speed and distance (Sleek effect upgrade path gives sprinting distance), you can also equip these and another leg piece to your hot pouch to swap between them quickly. Combine them with the Natural Explorer mutation for even more speed Killing most underwater creatures replenishes oxygen Build a zipline tower with ziplines back and forth to useful locations from your main base with a Bounce Web elevator. I recommend this one but there are other (cheaper) designs You can change the direction that the Bounce Webs launch you You can carry more grass or weed stems by relocating a pallet. You can also carry more items by relocating a chest or any other crafting station. You can also transport stems or grass over a zipline. You can greatly increase the amount of grass and stems you can haul with the Hauling Hero mutation, Fluffy Pupa hat, intern badge, workers comp smoothie and Red Ant Armguards & Knee Guards Crafting, Cooking & inventory management You can use hotkeys for most crafting actions like filling spinning wheels for example Use N (on pc) to quick stack items to nearby chests You can exclude chests from the quick stack hotkey in the chests menu so you don't constantly dump all your arrows or other tools You can set a hot pouch slot to different categories like "any weapon" to cycle through all your weapons without having to open your inventory Upgrading any item also fully repairs it do not upgrade beyond level 5 until you have beaten the assistant manager because you will need repair glue to repair your gear You can upgrade the repair tool to repair structures slightly quicker You can label chests and trail markers with names and icons Do not craft leather manually. Use a jerky rack or it will be very expensive. Any backpack can be picked up by another player if the owner of the bag logs off Placing a water container under a juice box straw will slowly fill it up with juice. You can also place Dew Collectors close together so the water droplets merge and fall. If you place water containers underneath, they will also get collected automatically. You can leave mushrooms on the ground to lure Weevils for food You can put a torch in a weapon wall mount for better lighting Buy cheaper bandages from the Science Shop as soon as possible. The passive regeneration they give is very useful You can get lots of plant fiber by grinding grass or weed stems which you can use for crafting Use cheap items like 3 plant fiber to make questionable smoothies for healing (preferably with Muscle Sprouts) Funguspatcho is one of the easiest meals to farm because you can plant both mushroom types in planter boxes and fungal growth is found in a lot of places especially after plugging the haze. Cooked meals satisfy your hunger for way longer and funguspatcho also gives an attack stamina buff! Once you unlock elemental weapons like the coaltana or the salt morning star, you can kill any aphid or weevil or other food dropping bugs with these weapons and get cooked or jerky version immediately Mutations Mutations | Grounded Wiki | Fandom[grounded.fandom.com] Parry Master Great mutation for combat. You can easily max unlock this by parrying another players attacks in multiplayer (also works for the perfect block 10 times in a row achievement) Coup de Grass One of the best mutations for combat. Combine this with the Trapper PEEP.R mutation for even more damage Fresh Defense Eat 10 mint to get this to max and use it for traversing the sandbox during the day or with Antlion armor to get Everchar coal even easier or during the Coaltana defense event Spicy Safety Eat 4 Spicy Shards to get this mutation to greatly increase resistance against smashing and stabbing attacks A list of creature damage types can be found on the Wiki[grounded.fandom.com] Mithridatism Very useful for dealing with wolf spiders, Black Widows, and the Hedge Broodmother boss fight Guard dog Works during factional raids, Mix.rs, the Coaltana defense event, the JavaMatic event and Waft Emitter factional raids Combat & Armor almost all attacks can be perfect blocked. learning to perfect block attacks is extremely useful and will save you a ton of heals. Get a shield as soon as possible and practice this. Most bugs have similar attacks. Weaknesses and resistances are very important. Avoid attacking something with a weapon that it's resistant to. Clubs deal generic damage (not busting). The Mint Mace for example is a great weapon to have because its good against multiple strong enemies that are weak to fresh damage: Stinkbugs, Roly polys, Tiger mosquitos, Ladybird Larvae, all infected bugs, Green Shield bugs and Fire Ants All robots are weak to (sour) busting damage (Hammers) The termite axe is also a decent mid-game weapon, especially with the Chopper mutation Black Widows are resistant against everything except explosions (Explosive Arrows) and only 25% resistant against stabbing damage (Arrows and spears) All attack animations can be cancelled with a block. You can also use food or heals while attacking from your hot pouch. Fighting in 3rd person helps a lot because it’s easier to see what’s around you.Especially during certain boss fights with lasers Patience is generally good during boss fights, stay calm and focus on dodging hazards and blocking or dodging attacks and try to take your time to find a window where you can attack. You can deal massive damage to (Soldier) Ants by shooting/stabbing them in their eyes You can mark foe at any wall mount of any creature to get a 15 minute damage bonus for that specific bug The sleek upgrade on armor is almost always worth it Sleek ladybug armor is by far the best tier II armor in the game and stays useful far into late game. All daggers and spears can be used underwater Throwing spears and clubs and other weapons does massive damage. (Spears do even more throwing damage with the Javelineer mutation) But there's a small chance the weapon falls through the map and gets lost. Always save before a fight if you plan on doing this. An autosave is automatically made when you start a boss fight There are several rotten items on the map that can help you in the early game (see the Wiki [grounded.fandom.com]on where to find them) Healbasas are decent healing, especially in Multiplayer but they take longer to use compared to smoothies. Using them also costs stamina. Always bring a bunch of Questionable Slop[grounded.fandom.com], preferably made with muscle sprouts as a base to a boss fight so you can quickly heal after you take a big hit. You can get to the walkway in the Assistant Manager boss room by jumping on another player against the wall or by clipping in the pillars using a weed stem (video example) from here you are safe to shoot him but you do have to watch out for the lighting towers in the second phase The Waft Emitter is a great way to farm certain types of bug parts and gold cards for the Trapper PEEP.R Mutation. (Especially Black Ox horns and Bombadier parts / Boiling glands) The "Payback Arrived" notification disappears after the last creature is killed. Super gas arrows are very good for dealing with groups of enemies especially during Mix.R defense events The Fresh staffs charged attack charges very quickly and you can hold down the attack button to spam it very fast Use Trinkets[grounded.fandom.com]!
