In the game you will control Chihiro, disciple of the great Master Hori Masashi. Chihiro lives in the village of Kakure, a place founded by the great Master to shelter those who abandoned the terror of the Lowland wars. Unfortunately, the village is found, attacked by the Flame clan and Chihiro ends up being captured and taken to some mysterious place. The Shokushu dominate the lowlands and the world descends into chaos and Flame. Ten years after her disappearance, Chihiro returns as a frozen creature. Master Hori is now an elder who has spent all this time studying the flame and, upon seeing his disciple return, he sends her to open the way to the lowlands, restore peace and eliminate the power of the Frostlame once and for all.
