Set against a vibrant, scrolling backdrop, the game offers multiple difficulty modes—Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme—each adjusting enemy speed, projectile intensity, and player lives (capped at 5 before cycle 32 and 10 after). Players can jump, double jump, fly with power-ups, shoot fireballs, and even unlock faster fireballs by defeating all bosses by cycle 32. The game features a save/load system, a high score tracker, and a pause menu with options to save, load, or return to the main menu.
