In this remade version you can experience unique dialogues for each boss you die against with every death being canon to the game's story, improved upon scaling and stat distribution as well as better drawn enemy sprites, the removal of all that edgy story stuff I made when I was still a teenager (now it's more-or-less kid friendly), better writing by far, better music by a very large amount, and more active battle animations. Similar to the original, Cross follows Michael and his old allies from the original, as well as the allies from the second game all merged into one.
