Only False will be hitting the shelves in Early Access with (for now) two different game modes: Rotten Deck, for those who thrive on a whirlwind of lies, and Rock Paper Scissors: Minus One, which strategy enthusiasts will love. While Early Access continues, we plan to add two more modes: a simplified poker variant and a surprise card game that up to 8 people can play at once. We’re keeping further details about that second mode under wraps for now! =) The goal of the game: Get rid of all your cards (before someone meets their untimely end). Once the table card is set, players take turns placing their cards face down, bluffing as they go. If you suspect a player of bluffing, you can call them out and make them reveal their cards. Caught them lying? They have to pull one of the six trap triggers on the table. But beware! Wrongly accuse someone, and it’s your turn to pull the trigger. After every trigger pull, the table deck resets, and a new round begins. Played with a standard deck of playing cards, this bluff-based mode has players fighting for survival through a penalty we call “Chinese Roulette,” rather than the typical Russian Roulette. In Russian Roulette, getting hit by the bullet is all about chance, but in Chinese Roulette, you pay the price of your own decisions. =) **Goal of the Game:** Get rid of all the cards in your hand before you die and be the last one standing — yes, it’s a bit challenging. **Supported Number of Players:** 2–4 **How to Play** At the start of each round, a “table card” is randomly chosen. Players secretly place the card(s) they choose from their hand face-down on the table and declare (bluff) what they’ve placed. The next player may, if they wish, check whether the declared cards on the table are accurate. If the bluff is called, and the player who placed the cards did indeed put down what they claimed, then the one who challenged the bluff must pick one of the “triggers” on the table. If the bluff is called, and the player who placed the cards did not put down what they claimed, then the bluffing player must pick one of the “triggers.” If the chosen trigger sets off a trap, the chooser dies, and the game continues with the remaining players. If the trap is not triggered, the game continues with the same players. The name says it all. For those who haven’t heard of it, think of it as a two-handed twist on Rock-Paper-Scissors. **Goal of the Game:** Stay alive! **Supported Number of Players:** 2 **How to Play** At the start of each round, each player declares which sign they want to use for each hand. Both players present their hands simultaneously. After one second, each player pulls back one of their hands. The loser faces the thrill of Russian Roulette by courtesy of the owner of the “Mouse Bar.” The game continues until one player dies. Each character has a unique story and attitude, bringing a different energy to the table every time. **Lennie:** Forget everything you know(!) To handle Lennie, you’ve got to be on his level—mentally, that is! **Mrs. Pearl:** Impressive, charming, and sweet as honey. Sitting at the same table with her is truly an honor. **Slick Rick:** Don’t ask him about his shady past, especially how he got that nickname… Slick Rick is a slippery master of lies. **Hank the Mush: **If you spot this shady mushroom in dark, damp corners, hold your breath and go the other way. We can’t protect against your bluffs or your best “poker face,” but for everything else, we rely on Easy Anti Cheat. You won’t see bizarre things here like elongated necks or self-flying chairs (OooOOOoO). If you do spot something like that, don’t hesitate to report it!
