Two commandos, Winston Starmer and Luther Jones have to shoot their way out of this nightmare or there is no tomorrow for this world of ours - ETERNAL EVIL must be dealt with extreme prejudice, it has to be done for our ETERNAL SOULS. MISSION ETERNAL SOULS The game plays similar to the very simple arcade and computer games of the 1980s. 2 games included for the price of 1. - You move forward, backward and you strafe left and right (NO TURNING). It plays like old 1980s arcade shooters or old school computer games from the 1980s. - You have 3 weapons: your assault rifle (5 variations - just for visual diversity - with ammo counter), plasma augment shots (plasma blast) and a personal attack tiger (infinite but with cooldown) - The 2 games included are limited in content right now but they both will receive many content updates. - The goal is to destroy all enemies on a map to win and for some upcoming levels, you will save hostages as well. - Some enemies have a lot of health, keep that in mind. - When firing at enemies with the assault rifle, plasma shots or summoning the tiger attack, even if your onscreen target reticle is below the enemy/enemies, if the shot is lined up properly it will still hit and register damage. - Future levels will have some mission objectives (like saving hostages) and some exploration. - Enemy projectiles act as shields to enemies, protecting them from you own shots so you can only hurt enemies when shooting in between their projectiles when they are exposed and can be hurt by your shots - you can't hurt enemy by shooting through their projectiles. - Enemies can move and often they seem to disappear for a while but they are being reset to their initial location and are not destroyed unless all their HPs are depleted and when they are destroyed they leave a visual trace of their destruction - either a reddish blood splat for the organic enemies or a piece of grey debris for metallic enemies or explosions. - The 5 guns available in the game are the same in terms of damage etc... they are just there for visual diversity. There are two guns available as of now in MISSION ETERNAL SOULS uni. - 6 levels included in MISSION ETERNAL SOULS and 4 levels in MISSION ETERNAL SOULS uni with many more on the way for both versions. - Hard mode and normal mode available in game by pressing the "0" key, it can be changed at will during game. - Hard mode simply reduces amount of ammo and health pickups' numerical values. - Each level in a mini chapter and once completed you go back to the title screen. - Use the map (level) selector to pick which map (level) you want to play. - The Unreal Engine version of the game is simply named MISSION ETERNAL SOULS and is the main game, the Unity version is named MISSION ETERNAL SOULS uni and they have some differences since I'm not very experienced in Unity and also I want to maintain some differences. But the two versions are still similar. - Both versions (Unreal Engine and Unity versions) are included in the game, so two games for the price of one. - Many more enemies will be added for visual diversity (many are already created and ready to be added).
