After a devastating fire destroyed the town of Nêvarme, Ogfir, a boy left orphaned, is adopted by the Spirit of Fire, who bestows upon him a blazing branch with which he can invoke the power of fire. Once he had received the blessing from his adoptive father, the boy was entrusted to tame the Children of Fire that were corrupted by the Ancient of Fire to prevent humanity from being decimated by evil fire once
