StoryA nameless monk sits down to meditate beneath a sacred tree in Neo-Osaka, only to discover he has been cursed by the Time Yokai. Helplessly, he tries to rid his body of the corruption — a curse on Time. He must track down and eradicate the Time Yokai so his own soul can be purified. The mechanics of his curse are punishing: as the monk moves, the world around him grinds to a crawl, but the moment he stops, the world tirelessly accelerates, moving faster and faster. Without rest, he must take on bounties to hunt down and vanquish Yokai to save himself.
