A guide to the unique objects you can find in the game and their effects. Basic Items Metal detector: increases number of keys and coins, beeps when nearby them Shovel: allows to dig in specific spots of green rooms Sledgehammer: opens trunks without keys Gear Wrench: every time you draft a mechanical room, you may permanently adjust its rarity Coin Purse: every 3 gold you gain, gain another one Salt Shaker: gain +1 step every time you gain steps from food Sleeping Mask: every time you enter a bedroom, gain +5 steps (works only once for each bedroom) Magnifying glass: you can inspect documents more closely Telescope : you can gain the effect of constellations Lockpick kit : you can try to open locked doors without using keys Coupon Book: save 1 coin on every purchase Hall Pass: travelling between two adjacent hallway does not cost steps, drafting hallways from a hallway does not cost gems Navigational Compass: draw floorplans leading north more frequently Lucky Rabbit's Foot: greater chance of finding items Tresure Map: solutionreach the room marked on the map and dig to find a huge treasure Battery Pack: provides power to battery-powered contraptions Upgrade disk: insert in a terminal to permanently upgrade one room Broken Lever: could prove useful... solution: can be used to create contraptions in the workshop or to open the front door of antechamber or fix a casino slot machine Workshop Items Detector Shovel (Metal detector + Shovel): combines the effects of metal detector and shovel, additionally increases chances to find coins and keys through digging. Dowsing Rob (Compass + Shovel): while drafting, indicates the room that may contain more items today than usual Jack Hammer (Shovel+ Battery Pack + Broken Lever): finds better items when digging. Power Hammer (Hammer + Battery Pack + Broken Lever): powerful hammer that can knock down weaker brick walls Electro Magnet (Compass+ Battery Pack): More likely to draw mechanical rooms, automatically collect keys and coins when entering a room Pick Sound Amplifier (Lockpick + Metal Detector): higher chance to pick high sensitivity locks. Burning Glass (Metal Detector + Magnifying Glass): can light candles and ignite fuses Lucky Purse (Coin Purse + Lucky Rabbit's Foot): doubles all coins you find. Special Keys Silver Key: drafted rooms will have many doors Prism Key: you will draw rooms of the same color of the room where you are (if you are in a colored room) Car Keys: the only car should be in the garage...solution: opens the car and its trunk Vault Key: opens the corresponding box in the vault Secret Garden Key: if possible, the room will be the secret garden Sanctum Key: open one door in the Sanctum File Cabinet Key: open a corresponding cabinet Key of Aries: opens the treasure trove locker Luxury Items This items can be bought in the showroom Moon Pendant: if you call it a day, tomorrow you start with two items of the inventory (costs 20 coins) Ornate Compass: while drafting, you may rotate the first 3 floorplans (costs 50 coins) Emerald Bracelet: you do not have to pay the gem cost of floorplans (costs 60 coins) Master Key: opens all normal doors (costs 80 coins) Silver Spoon: doubles the steps gained from eating (costs 30 coins) Cronograph: more likely to draw "tomorrow" items, can rewind time after drawing new floorplans (costs 30 coins) Trophy: available only after buying all the items in the room, (costs 100 coins) Unique Items Items that can be found only in specific rooms Wind-up key: component of the parlor game Watering Can: for each green room, the first time you enter, you can spend water to gain gems (start with 3 waters) StopWatch: for the next minute, don't spend steps to walk, keys to open doors, or gems to draft (but you still need them: you can't open a locked door if you have 0 keys) StopShield: once per day, while drafting, can ignore the effect of a red room TheAxe: permanently remove the gem cost from a room Self IgnitingTorch: can light candles and fuses MoriningStar: Can open trunks, next morning gain 1 star Cursed Effigy: unlocks curse mode Paper Crown: if there is not a red room among the first three floorplans drawn, you may redraw Blueprint Crown: the first time you draw a red room, you may remove it from today's pool. If you do it, gain 1 gem and redraw Royal Scepter: choose a color, rooms of that color will be more common, if you call it a day in a room of that color you won't lose the scepter.
