Do the acts in this recommended order: 3-5-4-2-1. Act 3 is generally the hardest, so finish it early to avoid losing progress on easier acts. Leave the simplest for last. Avoid unnecessary risks: skip lairs unless needed, take safe roads, and focus on resource and team health. Remember that hero deaths or replacements invalidate the achievement run. Max out hero skills and assign memories for extra stats. Avoid negative quirks and stress spikes by using the Field Hospital and controlling relationships. Hard Mode (Defeat final boss with Stygian Blaze equipped) The Stygian Blaze (Infernal Flame) increases difficulty by removing the flame – this means no positive stagecoach effects and more frequent, harder cultist fights. Build a survivable, high-damage party and prioritize stress healing, as breakdowns are deadlier with this mode active. Pick routes that grant field hospitals for recovery and avoid excessive battles unless strictly necessary. Save your best trinkets (including indelible, Hoarder-bought ones) for this final push. Plan your expedition so you can route through three different lairs, and time resource use accordingly. Use a team with reach (able to hit back-row enemies), self-sustain, and disease/blight resist, since some lair bosses specialize in negative effects. Don't underestimate combat items: use stuns, blinds, and healing drafts to outlast each boss.
