Works in deep water too, lowering the "top" so you don't have to actual get out of the water to recover oxygen LED Makes torches as bright as lanterns. Must be set before using a torch. --- The Art of Thievery Makes enemies and objects more likely to drop material items. Ups material drop chance. Master Skinner Makes enemies more likely to drop unique items. Ups rare monster material drop rates. Karon's Nose Shows the number of treasure chests on the current screen. Shows as Treasure BOX on the bottom of the screen. Sturdy Greatly increases your adaptability. Making you less susceptible to environmental effects such as underwater or snow. Allows you to stay underwater much longer. Adaptability also raises status effect resist. Dig, Doggy, Dig Allows you to discover hidden mining points Hidden mining points will show "Mining Point" in a light red color. Digging Master's Focus Stabilizes digging power. Swing speed of all pickaxes become the same. Digging Master's Finesse Significantly increases digging power. --- Icarus Wings Reduces the speed of falls. Fall slower / float after a jump. Jump Boots Boosts jumping power --- Air Ride Allows you to jump in midair. Press the jump button while jumping. --- Weapon Skills Karon Skill Description Clarifying Notes Critical Hit After the combo is interrupted, your first subsequent attack deals significant break damage. When a combo is interrupted, the next hit will deal more break gauge damage. Gladiator Reduces Shield Bash's cooldown --- Shelling Increases the occurrence of critical break. --- Wrestler Increases distance enemies are knocked back by weapon attacks. --- Herculean Power Improves the minimum swing speed of heavy weapons, allows them to be swung more quickly. Allows you to swing heavy weapons faster by raising minimum swing speed. Fatal Blow Increase damage dealt to a broken enemy by 30% Enemies in a "break" state take 30% more damage. Gun Hammer When hitting with a blunt weapon, bullets are fired diagonally upwards from the point of impact. Hammers are striking / blunt weapons. Dragon Spear The longer you remain in the air, the more powerful Armor Slash will become.. --- Stinger Stops you from moving forward during a trust attack or a Shield Bash. You remain at a fixed point. Applies to all thrusting motions. You will not move when performing thrusting attacks on the ground or in the air. This includes shield bash. Shield Charge is not included in this. Berserk Attack power increased by 3x, but you will die in one hit. Does not overlap with other multiplied skills. Damage up times 3 in exchange for instant death if hit. Does not stack or overlap with other multiply skills. You'll get a symbol over your current HP as well signifying it's a one-hit kill. Sword Energy Releases sword energy during normal attacks. The distance sword energy travels is not affected by weapon type. A long energy slash is released when swinging your weapon. Demon's Right Hand Increases the range of the currently equipped weapon by one level. Range 3 weapons will also be further extended Increases range of equipped weapon by 1. Max Range [3] weapons will have range extended too. KARON Skills cont. Defensive Skills Karon Skill Description Clarifying Notes Aegis Allows you to hold your shield immediately as well as guard in midair Can guard in the air. Extra Guard Halves the damage sustained when a shield is broken. When guard gauge is broken, you'll take half damage as long as you keep guarding. Rapid Repair Accelerates the guard gauge's recovery speed. --- Auto Guard Consumes 30% of your maximum ST to guard you automatically. Only works when you have enough ST. --- Redirection The guard gauge is not expended when a just-guard succeeds. Does not activate if your shield is broken. Guard gauge will not decrease when Just Guarding. Will not work when your guard gauge is empty. Recovery Guard Just-guard will recover a small amount of HP. Does not activate if your shield is broken. HP restores on Just Guard. Will not work when your guard gauge is empty. Super Armor Reduces the knockback distance to zero when attacked. You won't be knocked back when hit. Burst Armor Knocks back surrounding enemies when you are attacked. --- Cicada Shell Ignores the first attack you receive on any screen. Resets when you enter a new screen. Allows you to get hit once, per screen, without taking damage Tank Increases HP, but lowers your ST. Increases HP by decreasing max ST. Second Wind Increases invincibility duration after taking damage. More likely to avoid combo hits from enemies. Increases iframes after taking damage. God's Left Hand Allows you to equip a shield alongside a long-range weapon. You can equip a shield while having a 2-handed sword or long staff equipped. Possession Skills Karon Skill Description Clarifying Notes Breather Slows down the speed of decreasing ST. ST will decrease slower than normal when not in battle. Lion Heart Extends the range of your possession skills. Possession skill's range is increased, they will be summoned a bit further from the player character. Full screen skills are unaffected. Chicken Heart Shortens the range of your possession skills. Possession Skills range is shortened, they will be summoned closer to the player character. Full screen skills are unaffected. Great Magic Significantly extends the time until ST begins to decrease.. --- Flawless Slightly increase ST consumption,but you won't be affected by any abnormal statuses while using possession skills. ST Cost increased a little but you won't be affected or afflicted with Status Effects while the Possession Skill is going on. Darkness When activating possession skills, consumes HP corresponding to the ST consumed, but skill power is greatly increased. HP is consumed when summoning, but the power is greatly increased. Eliminate Increases ST consumption but your possession skills will eliminate enemy bullets when activated. ST Cost goes up, but allows Possession Skill to erase enemy bullets. Demon Rage Doubles damage caused by the possession skill. Consumes twice as much ST. --- Energy Drain If an enemy attacks you during a possession skill, restore HP.equal to one half of what the damage would be. New translation fixed it. Bushido Increases ST, but lowers your HP ST increases in exchange for decreasing HP. Full Burst Consume all ST when using a possession skill. Altered Technique Skills Karon Skill Description Clarifying Notes Hassoride Shoots out vernier while using Air Blade. Jet-like bursts of energy extend from your feet while using Air Blades. Air Tackle While using Air Surf, deal damage to any enemies you hit. Air Surf will damage enemies and objects. Shuriken Sword Extends the distance of the Sky Sword --- Bash Tornado Generates a tornado from a Shield Bash. Launches enemies into the air and destroys any enemy bullets that hit it. --- Kirihide Extends the invincibility time of the backstep and generates blast damage at the previous position. Ice Crush Generates icicles at the end of Armor Slash --- Grand Slash Hurls rocks up in the air while activating a Jump Slash --- Double Reflect Counter bash will now repel enemy bullets --- Shuriken Dagger When using throwing knives, 5 will be consumed. Throws special projectiles forward randomly that will destroy enemy bullets. Using 'Throwing Knives' changes them to 'Shurikens' consumes 5 knives when used. Erases enemy bullets. Mach Spike Places powerful mines when using Shield Charge. Mines are placed at your feet while you're guarding. Special Skills Karon Skill Description Clarifying Notes Gumption Boosts the benefits of combo bonuses. --- Seize When you hit an enemy, seize it's coins. Enemies will drop coins when struck. King of Destruction Recover HP and ST when you break an enemy. Recover HP and ST when you put an enemy into "Break". Magical Power Conversion Allows you to convert decreasing ST into HP. --- Gale Techniques that involve movement will now travel further Air Surf, Air Blades, Ascending Slash have increased distance. Thunderclap Briefly restrain an enemy hit by a bow. The restrained enemy cannot move. All arrows fired from bows will restrain and paralyze the enemy. Thrifty When consumable items are used, there is a 1-in-4 chance they will not be consumed. This does not apply to Force-generating items and Stat Cards. Using any consumable will have 1/4 chance to not be consumed. Force items and Attribute Cards are not affected by this. Fine Tuning Reduces the weight of your shield to 0. Weight for all shields become 0. Swordsmith It makes it easier to boost weapon proficiency. Makes it easier to MASTER weapons. Magician Increases the swing speed of Magic Staves. --- Item Master Recovery item effects increased by 1.5. Duration of timed tools increased by 1.5 Recovery Items effected up by 1.5. Time-limited items like Antitoxin have their duration upped by 1.5. The Art of Summoning Increases the power of all possession skills to the highest level. It also increases ST Consumption to the highest level. The power of all Possession Skills within a given element is increased to the highest rank. ST Consumption for Possession Skills within a given element is the same. ie Thunderbolt will have the same power and ST cost as Dark Flare. Thunderbolt will also have the same power as Dark Flare. KARON Skills - Extended Clarification This section will further break down or give info about the KARON skills. I have run out of room in KARON pages so I have to place it here. Karon Skill Additional Clarifying Notes Efreet - Shadow These skills will do additional damage against demons of the opposite element. These stack with the KARON Skill 'Maxwell' Maxwell When equipped with the elemental damage skills above, it ups damage to 250% when hitting the enemy weakness. Origin Weapons with no attribute will deal 20% more damage. Flawless ST cost is increased by 30% Eliminate ST cost is increased by 20% Darkness +50% bonus damage regardless of how much HP is spent / taken from summoning. Demon Rage Increases base ST cost by 100% and base power by 100% Full Burst Increases base power by 1% per ST consumed. Stacks well with Demon Rage. Recovery Guard Restores 20% of HP on successful Just Guarding. Stars will shoot out from you when a successful Just Guard happens. Cicada Shell Lets you take 1 free hit from any damage source. This includes status effects like Bleed. Effect refreshes each time you change screens. Can cheese bleed by running in between screen transitions. Berserk This is also affected by status effects like Bleed. It can be a moot point since its one-hit and you're done, but can also end you if you get hit by the effect while using a possession skill. Tank HP is increased by 10%. ST is decreased by 20% Bushido HP is decreased by 10%, ST is increased by 20% Gumption Boosts combo bonuses by 50% Magician Increases the swing speed of magic staves. The higher the "Handling" the more maximum attack speed. Staves with handling of 1 will become 2. Still being edited Post Script / Postgame KARON Skills With entering post script / post game, you'll be introduced to new mechanics like equipment board and piece gems. Equipment boards have a chance to have different KARON skills as well as different possession skills, they'll replace an existing KARON skill but will have a new effect. The [Change Karon Magic] piece gem also allows you to do so as well, all you need is a gem slot on an equipment board and to enhance that piece gem. The order shown below is the order the [Change Karon Magic] gem goes through with each enhancement. This section will tell you the different skills and what they do. Increases magical power and speed while afflicted with a status effect Gumption Fighting Spirit Your combo number will increase by 2 instead of 1 when landing hits --- Swordsmith Druid Substantially increases the physical strength of magic staves. --- Cicada Shell Enhance Barrier The Rock Shield possession skill and Kuro's barrier will protect against more enemy ranged attacks --- Dash Step Pressing Circle while moving allows you to move forward at high speed. --- Breather Auto Summon Randomly activates useable possession skills at a regular interval. Will randomly use a possession skill as long as you have the necessary ST. Critical Hit Break Bash Significantly increases break damage caused by Shield Bash. --- Ice Crush Impaling Slash Armor Slash will only hit directly below you, but the number of hits will double --- Wrestler Sumo Attack Shield Charge will damage enemies in its path. --- Super Armor Block Charge Significantly reduces guard damage during a Shield Charge. --- Gravity Daze Space Walker Significantly accelerates speed during Zero Gravity. You'll move faster when using Zero Gravity. Hassoride Sky Surf Air Surf will aim upwards. Air Surf now sends you upwards instead of in the direction you're moving. Air Tackle Kamaitachi Sky Sword will now emit vacuum waves while it slashes through the air. Sky Sword emits bursts of wind when thrown. Energy Drain Sustained Enhancement Greatly lengthens the duration of stat increases from possession skills. Stat increases via Possession Skills last significantly longer than normal. Auto-Guard Enhanced Guard Substantially reduces guard damage taken while your shield is up. --- Berserk Counter Guard Successful guarding enemy bullets will reflect them back at enemies --- Karon's Nose Infinite Unlocking Keys are not consumed after opening treasure chests. --- Icarus Wings Shuffling Allows you to move slightly while attack. You can move while you attack on the ground, pressing either direction will move you that way as you attack. Seize Throw Coins Coins are consumed instead of arrows and bullets. --- Sword Energy Great Sage Significantly increases the magical power of attacks produced by magic staves Magic effects produced by the magic staves are stronger now. Bushido Overflow ST exceeding the maximum limit will recover your HP. Gaining ST beyond the max will be converted to HP and heal you. Fatal Blow Shadow Spear All thrust attacks generate an additional dark attribute attack. --- Demon's Right Hand Command Claw A powerful additional attack is generated when hitting with a short-ranged fist weapon.
