Survival is important in survival games and hard to achieve in an apocalypse. This guide will grow as the game does and as I have more time to put into it. Atm it contains basic day one survival tips and how to prevent/cure infections. Happy hunting everyone One Day Basics On day one you will spawn in undressed expect for your whitie tighties, I don't know our back story but I am assuming it isn't good for us to wake up in our home with no clothes and no supplies. It is our job to stay alive now. Do not panic and break that window or door with no tool.. you will be able to get out just look around, gather what is in the room first and check the door to see if you can unlock it. If you can't unlock the door it is safer to beat the door down if you don't have a tool than to break that window, cuts can lead to infections, infections lead to death. Now that you have unlocked or broken down the door head out and start looting 1. Find a place to stay at least that night, once you find your "perfect" spot you can call that you perm home.. on some servers you can have more than one, if not you can rehome at a later date 2. Make sure NOT to engage zombies without clothes on and a weapon,, if they scratch you even if you treat the wound you can die of infection 3. Pick a home with a greenhouse and a farm. Make your life easier for food ** 4. Place a utility cabinet to keep zombies from spawning inside your temp home*** 5. Gather and focus on food/cooking pots/pans. You have to have different pans to cook different food and a kettle go brew drinks/clean water 6. Smell the water before you drink it 7. Stay clean and keep clothes clean to avoid infections 8. WEAR CLOTHES and gear up to fight don't just jump in if they touch you they can infect you 9. Try to find a running vehicle 10. If you decide to build a base in the woods, good luck and remember you can cook on a campfire **Read that once grid goes down we may need propane tanks.. so keep that in mind as well. We might be able to build generators but having a home with a tank would make it easier to heat/cook ***Utility cabinet will need wood scrap, limestone, concert, wood logs the more you have built the more types of stuff it requires and the more it takes How to Heat Your Food: Very Basic Cooking Everyone needs to eat, even at the end of the world. Let us begin to look at basics of cooking and how to not starve to death 1. There are several ways to cook your food: Stove, campfire, microwave and all of them require either power or fuel 2. You can burn your food so watch the timer bar and don't let it get over 100 3. You have to have items to cook in, different items require different types of pots and pans so make sure to put them in the oven storage 4. You need water for a lot of cooking so keep water in storage as well 5. You can boil water if you have the right pot to make sure that it is clean to drink 6. Books will teach you new foods and you will learn new ones as you level best way to level cooking is to boil water 7. Make sure to have something to collect liquid from cooking be it broth or water it comes in handy 8. Load your stove to be able to cook but it will go bad faster in there 9. Rotten food cooked still means rotten food just don't eat that stuff... 10. Open cans before placing in stove if you want to cook them Ways To Heat Your Food Campfire *Build Cost: 1 Wood Log and 4 Wood Scraps. *Maintenance Cost: 1 Wood Scrap *You have to have fuel in the campfire to burn it and a lighter to start the fire Wood burns fast but is easy to get, charcoal last longer but you have to find it Stove * Stove has to have power of some sort which is simple if you have the grid hooked up a little harder if not. If grid is down you will either need a propane tank that comes built onto the house for gas cooking or you will need to make alternative power source like solar, wind, gas generators Microwaves * Also require power of some sort. Can be used like a microwave in real life and you check the food by opening the microwave and hovering over the food item cooking Infections Wanna Get Rid Of Them? There are at least 2 types of infections Sick and Sick? Sick infection is a viral infection like a cold but if you get Sick? you will more than likely become a Zombie It seems as though the infection is air born in this universe so we have to be extra careful, don't want to eat our friends Prevention 1. Do not break glass without a tool of some sort equipped 2. Do not walk around bare foot 3. Do not go outside with out proper gear, if you get scratched you could die 4. Stay out of yucky weather, eat good, keep warm 5. Wash your clothes 6. If you get a wound cover it with a bandage, especially if it came from a zombie Cure The cure depends on the sickness Sick 1. Take antibiotics, rest, keep hydrated, eat good, stay out of the elements all the things you would do with a normal cold Sick? Pray...........
