ESTIMATED TIME First-time players: approximately 3–4 hours. Experienced players: around 2 hours or less. REQUIREMENTS You need Guild Wars Nightfall (included with Reforged) and the Eye of the North expansion. XP Scrolls are strongly recommended, especially Lightbringer Scrolls. Cheaper XP scrolls can be bought from merchants, but leveling will be noticeably slower. PART 1 – CHARACTER CREATION & CHAHBEK VILLAGE (LEVEL 1–3) Create a new character in the Nightfall campaign. Any profession works for this method. Complete the Chahbek Village mission. This mission is extremely easy and fast. Make sure that all three Sunspear Recruits survive, as this grants the maximum XP reward. After completing the mission, you will be prompted to choose a secondary profession. Choose carefully, as you will not be able to change it immediately. At this point, you should be close to level 3. PART 2 – KAMADAN QUEST ROUTE (LEVEL 3–5) Your next objective is to reach level 5 as efficiently as possible. Travel to Kamadan, Jewel of Istan, and pick up every available quest inside the outpost. Start with the armor trader and material traders, then work your way across the outpost to collect all remaining quests. These quests are very quick and provide easy experience. Before completing them, acquire your XP scrolls. Lightbringer Scrolls are recommended, and five are more than enough for the entire leveling process. The average cost is around 7–8k gold. XP scrolls cannot be purchased in Kamadan or in your guild hall, so you must buy them from another outpost or directly from other players. Remember that cheaper XP scrolls can be bought from merchants, but leveling will be noticeably slower. Once you have your scrolls, leave Kamadan and complete the nearby quests you just accepted. This should take roughly ten minutes and rewards around 5,000 XP. Before mapping back to Kamadan, travel instead to Sunspear Great Hall, which is located northeast of Kamadan. After turning in the quests, you should now be level 5. At this point, you should not have used any XP scrolls yet. PART 3 – SUNSPEAR BOUNTY ROUTE (LEVEL 5–7) At level 5, travel to Sunspear Great Hall and speak to Runduk, the Sunspear officer in the center of the outpost. Accept the primary quest requiring either Sunspear rank: First Spear or level 12. Reaching First Spear is significantly faster and is the recommended option. Now you will begin using XP scrolls. Exit Sunspear Great Hall, take the Sunspear bounty, and activate one XP scroll immediately. Turn right from the outpost exit and walk for about fifteen seconds until you encounter Tarom Rockbreaker, a Warrior boss. He can be difficult to kill at low levels, so bringing a mercenary hero, heroes, or a level 20 friend is highly recommended. After defeating him, return to the entrance of Sunspear Great Hall. Just outside the outpost, you will find a large group of approximately fifteen Stalking Nephilas. Kill them all for experience and Sunspear points. Directly behind them is Hassin Softskin, a Paragon boss. He is surrounded by three level 6 Fanged Iboga that apply heavy degeneration, which can easily kill low-level characters. Bringing a Monk hero or reliable healing is strongly advised. From Hassin Softskin’s location, head northeast to find the final boss, Suneh Strongmbringer. Defeat him, then zone back into Sunspear Great Hall to reset. Depending on your kills and scroll usage, you should now be level 6 or 7. PART 4 – FAHRANUR MASS FARM (LEVEL 7–10) Next, travel to Champion’s Dawn, located southwest of Sunspear Great Hall. From there, fight or run your way through the Cliffs of Dohjok to reach Jokanur Diggings. Take the west exit to enter Fahranur, the First City. Activate another XP scroll, take the bounty, and kill everything in the area. Enemies here can reach up to level 15 and hit very hard, making this area dangerous for low-level teams. At this stage, bringing a level 20 friend or strong mercenary heroes is highly recommended. Clear the area for about ten minutes and collect all bounties. Repeat this process two to three times until you reach level 10. PART 5 – EYE OF THE NORTH ACCESS (LEVEL 10) Once you reach level 10, return to Kamadan and speak to Bendah. Accept the quest that mentions a crack in the earth and people needing help. Exit Kamadan into the Plains of Jarin. Stay along the left side of the wall and avoid unnecessary combat, as enemies here are not worth the XP at this level. Enter the mission and proceed quickly, skipping cutscenes if you are speedrunning. You will arrive at Boreal Station. Exit the outpost, pick up the quest from Jora just outside, and follow the path to reach the Eye of the North outpost. Enter the Hall of Monuments, watch your first vision, and accept the quests from Ogden, Vekk, and Gwen. This step is mandatory; without it, access to Gunnar’s Hold will be locked. PART 6 – KILROY STONEKIN XP FARM (LEVEL 10–20) Travel to Gunnar’s Hold. Purchase at least four Lightbringer Scrolls, which can be bought directly in the outpost. Speak to Kilroy Stonekin and accept the quest “Punch a Clown.” Read the provided skills carefully, as this dungeon uses a special combat system. The dungeon is very easy once you understand how the skills work. After completing it, accept “Stonekin’s Punch-Out Extravaganza.” Activate an XP scroll inside and kill everything you encounter. Each run takes approximately ten minutes and usually rewards one to two full levels. If you experience excessive knockdowns, manually activating the skill bound to key 8 significantly speeds up the dungeon. PART 7 – REPEATABLE GRIND TO LEVEL 20 After finishing the dungeon, complete the quest “A Throwdown in Norn Town.” You will then be able to run the dungeon again. Once prompted to accept “Norn Fighting Tournament,” take the quest, abandon it, and rezone. This will allow you to repeat Stonekin’s Punch-Out Extravaganza indefinitely. Continue repeating the dungeon until you reach level 20. COMPLETED Congratulations — you now have a level 20 character in Guild Wars Reforged in a fraction of the time it normally takes.
