Wild East: The Straw Man Demo begins a grounded point-and-click mystery set in post-communist Slovakia, where a death, a stack of papers, and a few careful lies start pulling at the same thread. You play as Marek Varga, a journalist following the first leads through old apartments, a newsroom, phone calls, documents, and conversations with people who know more than they want to say. This demo focuses on the opening stretch of the investigation. It is slower, observational, and built around classic adventure-game actions: looking closely, talking to people, reading documents, using items, and connecting small details into the next lead. The demo includes: - the opening part of Marek's investigation - classic 2D point-and-click exploration - dialogue-driven story scenes - document and inventory-based puzzles - a distinctly Central European 1990s atmosphere - English, Slovak, and Czech language support - a demo ending that points toward the larger case The full game is still in development. This demo is a self-contained first look at the case, the tone, and the investigative rhythm of Wild East: The Straw Man.
