Hello Lightcatchers! With the Farlight 84 Global Relaunch just around the corner, our dev team has received tons of your feedback. We’re carefully reviewing every comment and working hard to address high-priority issues — even putting in extra hours lately. Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. Q1: Will my account progress be preserved after the Global Relaunch? Yes — all your account progress will carry over. 🎮 That includes everything you’ve already unlocked: heroes, skins, weapon and vehicle cosmetics — nothing gets wiped. We know how much time and effort you’ve put in, and we’re keeping that intact. Some older items like free event tokens or outdated points will be automatically converted into equivalent resources in the new version, based on their actual value. All monetized content and backpack items from the previous version will remain available — no content will be hidden or removed. ⚠️ One exception: Ember is currently undergoing a full rework. While you’ll still see the character and related items in your inventory, Ember won’t be usable in this update. The relaunch marks a new beginning, but everything you’ve earned so far stays with you. Let’s keep going — there’s more ahead. Q2: The game's overall quality has improved a lot with this update. Will skins and other in-game items become more expensive? Actually — it’s the opposite. We believe a great game should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. That’s why we’ve decided to lower prices for certain skins and items in the new version. With this update, some content will have adjusted pricing to better fit the new in-game economy and give all Lightcatchers more flexibility to collect, customize, and play their way. Already own these items? Don’t worry — everything you’ve unlocked remains unchanged in your inventory. Q3: Will my device support the new Global Relaunch version? To bring you smoother, sharper, and more immersive battles, we’ve optimized performance across all platforms. Here are the minimum device requirements: 📱 Android: at least 4 GB RAM 🍎 iOS: at least 3 GB RAM 💻 PC: at least 8 GB RAM The update goes live on August 7 at 16:00 (UTC+8). Our security and operations team stands firmly by the principle of “Fair Play Across the Lightfield.” We have zero tolerance for cheating, third-party plugins, score manipulation, or any actions that undermine fair gameplay. Currently, we employ a dual approach combining automated penalties with manual review and follow-up bans to protect your gaming experience. Our goal is to respond to reports within 20 minutes and ban confirmed cheaters within 12 hours. We also actively share ban updates on social platforms to keep the community informed and demonstrate our commitment to fair play. Q5: Are there any upcoming collaborations planned for Farlight 84? Yes! We’re excited to share that a Sichuan Cultural & Tourism collaboration is in the works. This will include a new map featuring iconic Sichuan landscapes like Jiuzhaigou, along with themed Buddies tied to the event. Additionally, heroes from AFK Arena: Journey will be joining Farlight 84 in future updates! Beyond these announcements, stay tuned to our official channels — more exciting surprises are on the way. Additionally, due to significant changes in the in-game settings after this update, all settings—including sensitivity, graphics, and gameplay preferences—will be reset to default when you log in. To ensure the best experience, we recommend all Lightcatchers adjust their settings again after updating. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Lastly, as game developers, our greatest pride is delivering experiences that exceed expectations—and that’s been our core belief since Farlight 84’s very first version. That said, we acknowledge that the game went through a rough patch, with an uncomfortable version and a long gap between updates. There were many reasons behind it, but during that time, our entire team took a hard look back. We reflected on every past version, gathered insights from everyone across the team, and once we aligned on a direction, we dove straight into rebuilding. Designers worked on new gameplay, maps, heroes, and weapons. Artists tackled visuals, animation, and effects. Engineers rebuilt systems and restructured the servers for new modes. This process took longer than we expected, and for that, we sincerely apologize. Before we had real gameplay to show, we didn’t have the confidence to respond publicly—we wanted our progress to speak for itself. Thankfully, once the teaser dropped, your love and support proved we’re on the right track. That connection with you, the players, means everything to us. With this update, we’re letting the game do the talking—and we hope this version of Farlight 84 is the one you’ve been waiting for. We’ll see you all for the official launch on August 7!
