The AdVenture Capitalist algorithms behind the scenes are what make the game. I don't have that information, but I do have a million angels on the moon. Starting out Click the lemonade button to get some money. Check under Managers for the Lemonade manager and buy it. Rinse and repeat for Longer Term Investments (LTI), meaning investments with longer timers. The one constant to trust is that the Lemonade stand is the Short timer and the oil rig is the Long timer. check for any available Upgrades on the Upgrades menu. Within a few minutes you should be ready to progress with the rest of us. General Guide The Magic Words that nothing in the game will let you see is Return On Investment. You could put another dollar into the lemonade or another dollar into a movie studio, or a particular upgrade and how do we choose, based on what gets us max Return On Investment? ROI here is defined as (Income per second) / Investment. So far, that will be the main focus of my guide. Early on, its a sure bet that the high ROI rests with the LTI Longer Term Investments. Go Straight for that oil rig. All the upgrades, as far as I experienced, are very competitive, worth the investment. In my early play, I didn't suffer much going for all Oil, but the diversified portfolio is really rewarded. With such hints as the Steam achievement "3000 of everything" is letting you see, the "X of Everything multiplier" is really important, encouraging the even, diversified investment between all sectors. However, the invisible hand of the market plays a little trick on us, maybe the game's humor, somewhere around 1,000 oil rigs I think it was, the market becomes saturated, the new hot commodity is Lemonade, most certainly, start looking to Lemonade again in the early 1,000s. These algorithms are completely hidden so not worth thinking about it in any more depth. The high ROI has gone from the LTI such as the oil rigs, back to the lemonade, and in the 2,000s it hop scotches around all the middle investments. Hockey and shrimp and movies have been important, specifically as their specific Upgrade becomes available. Notice on the Unlocks screen, how Newspaper at a particular bracket of income, actually Unlocks income upgrades for all the Other investment types, and huge multipliers at that. I found the Oil eventually becomes competitive again with the Lemonade, on the two edges of the spectrum, the LTI is not easily beaten for ROI. I actually wait for about 10 times my current level of Angel Investors, for restarting with more angel investors. I've seen this said to be double. Don't be too worried and distraught, the first time, as it says Pst, its worth it! I'd wait for 1,000 angels and then confirm the restart your first time. The Investor Screen Highlights on Double. I was uncertain about the Angel Upgrades that acquire free business. I was incorrect that free coupon business After and On Top all the ones you are able to buy, would be a price saving, any more than buying them right away. The price curve just impliments exactly the same upgraded early or late. Eventually at more than a Decillion dollars, yes you will get a humorously fictitious amount of money in a week or so, don't give up from being bored quite yet! The Launch Panel appears at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to access the Moon market with some investment. It opens up a Completely Separate Market (CSM) on the moon. Some might think opening a mirror game on the moon might affect trade in your earth business, no, so I like to hammer home the CSM. You can switch between your CSMs as if having open two different AdVenture Capitalist games. Now, the Moon Market is more advanced , so I'll reserve any appearance of mastery until I see a more advanced guide. The Moon Shoes are actually a good start, I definitely wouldn't jump for the LTI in the same way that you did on Earth. The Oxygen Lounge is very competitive through all my iterations on the Moon. Note the Unlocks screen looks very different on the moon, such as the 12 times profit for each bracket or level of Oxygen Lounges on the moon. On earth this Unlocks screen is reliably 2x or doublespeed, really the same thing, across all investments. I also emphasize, I do Not depend on death lasers, or LTI.
