Easiest way to grind points for the FFA Ark: SOTF Survivor League Ark: SOTF FFA grinding FFA Boxstrat Guide [ english is not my main language so dont hate on my typos..... thanks :-* ] [Game Version 173.0] Introduction: The FFA Boxstrat has 1 purpose which is getting point`s in the Survivor League with almost no effort. Your Goal is basicly to get 2nd, 3rd or 4th place. So if you are grinding point`s but dont have the skill to make it to the top 5 or you just don`t feel like taming or building gun´s over and over again this will be perfect for you. Pro`s and Con`s of these Strategy`s Pro`s ⦁Effortless Point`s for the Survivor League ⦁No skill requirement ⦁Spare time to do other thing`s while grinding for example playing other games, doing your Homework or House Chore`s ⦁Almost 100% chance of getting point`s each game because no one will go mid until the very end and by that time there will most likely only be 2-5 player`s left in game. Con`s ⦁No action ⦁If done too often players might go mid early just to ruin your base ( easy fix change your name in-game so they don’t recognize you ⦁Since the current meta is tames your base might get destroyed but most of the time players won`t see your base until the very end which lets you be in the top 5 either way There is 3 versions of this Strategy that i can think of right now: Version 1: 1 by 1 Wooden Box on the platform which requires: -1 Wooden Foundation -1[+1] Wooden Ceiling -4 Wooden Wall`s (you want to use wall`s and not door`s for the simple reason that doors break easier than walls and you should not leave the box anyway) Gameplay: At the start of the game you want to jump down immediately and run to the closest Forest for extra cover and start getting your essential`s Stone Pickaxe, Stone Hatchet, Spears and Clotharmor (you could make a bow and stone arrow`s for a higher chance of actually getting First but that is not the goal of this strategy). After getting your essential`s you will start crafting your Base. As in where to put your level`s i recommend to get 260 weight just to be able to put your base in your inventory and the rest in health. The weight might have to be a bit more if you decide to go with a bow and arrow`s If every piece of the Base is crafted you go back up to the platform and place your base, before you put the last Wall down and close yourself into the base, make sure to have atleast 150 berries on you. (obviously Narcoberries and Stimberries not counted because those don’t give you food or water). You won`t move much in your Base so your Food and Water level`s shouldn’t go down and the berries should keep you up in case there is “MegaHeat” or “MegaCold” Now you just wait until you are top 5. If the game goes into Sudden death there might be an event which can only happen in Sudden death called “Hail to the Kings” HttK which drops explosives next to you in that case you want to instantly demolish your ceiling grab the explosives and try to kill your opponent. Winning Condition`s: The Chance to win with this Strat even though you only have Clotharmor and no Bow are not as small as you think, there is about 3 Winning Condition`s which are: “Acid Rain” after their armor is destroyed by “Acid Rain” you might have a chance to get a killing blow on them with a Spear throw to the Head. “Carnivore Drop” while you are save in your base the other players will be chased by Carnivores which might kill them depending on their skill level and current equip/tames. “Hail to the Kings” blow them up before they blow you up.
