Any additional tips or tricks to xp farm the battle pass are much appreciated and will be added. That being said here's a rough guide to unlock the awards for BF6! MAIN GUIDE Again this main section of the guide was written by u/VincentNZ from the r/battlefield2042 subreddit. Many people will try to unlock the BF6 rewards in 2042, but the BP mechanisms are very intransparent and designed in a way to be obscure, so it hides the actual amount of time you will have invest. I will do a more in-depth explanation, but will always highlight the important stuff in bold for a tl;dr. Let us start: Every BP in 2042 is not unlocked via raw XP gains, but via a point system. Every rank in the BP is worth 10 points. So for the 60 ranks you will have to accumulate 600 points. Points are gained in two ways: 1. Missions. They are your primary source of points. You get 10 missions each week. 3 worth 4 points each, 3 worth 5 points and 3 worth 6 points. You also get a weekly bonus mission that is wort 10 points. The 3,4,5 missions can be done at any time after they become unlocked. So you can unlock a week 1 mission in week 11. The bonus mission however is week exclusive. You can only do it in the week they released: So this week's mission of reviving teammates will be gone next week. The weekly total is 55 points and we have 7 weeks worth of missions, which will mean 385 points through missions. 2. Points gained by XP. You can also gain points with XP. At the start you need 4.75k XP to get one point. After a couple of points this will go up by 250. Then you will need to accumulate 5k per point. If you do all missions over the 7 weeks you will need to accumulate 215 points through playing. The formula behind it is unknown, but if I would haphazard a guess, then when doing all missions you will land at around 10k XP required for 1 point and hence average of ~7.5k per point. This will require you to gain a total of around 1.6 million XP over the course of the seven weeks. In terms of time investment this is means around 108 rounds of Conquest, when you average 15k XP. At 20 minutes each, this will be 36 hours over the course of 7 weeks. You might already see how these two systems interlock. Not doing a mission, for whatever reason, will put you back a couple of points and hence require you to play more. On top of that each point missed via mission, means your XP per point will also go up. You can see how this makes it very difficult to even roughly predict the time investment needed, especially if you want to finish it at a prior date. Time investment scales drastically with lost mission points. Point generation is also pretty fast in the early stages due to lower XP requirements, so you are tricked to think that the time investment will be the same over the course. The last points are rather a slog. So how can you speed up the point gains or make it at least more predictable? 1. Do all the missions every week. Every mission you miss you will have to catch up by a significant amount playtime. The more you miss the higher it scales. This is extremely important. 2. Play one round a day. There is a daily bonus for finishing a round, which is 10k. At 49 days, this will net you 490k and significantly decrease the time needed. 3. You can do missions in Portal bot matches. If a certain one gives you trouble set up a bot server for it. You can always find them in the Portal browser. Right click, choose "host this experience", set a password and you will play vs. Bots. 4. Playing a lot at the start has diminishing returns,as the XP per point will just go up regardless. But, if you know you will miss a week or so, you should bolster up beforehand, as you might run out of time. 5. Bot matches will net more XP on average, but can get extremely dull. If you want to max XP per round, you can go for ribbons. In 2042 these ribbons make up a significant portion of your XP gains. Spotting, Assists, Kills, Captures all of these have three tiers and can give up to 1.5k XP. Winning also gives a 2.5k XP bonus. You do not have to do all, but doing a decent amount of everything will bolster your XP gain per round. Conclusion: Even at only 60 ranks, the time investment will be significant, while the mechanics behind the BP remain opaque and unpredictable. To avoid frustration and hectic and to keep your gains predictable, DO ALL MISSIONS AND PLAY ONE ROUND A DAY. This has the biggest impact on your ability to finish the BP. If you can not do that make sure you make it up. You miss a day, you play one round extra the next day. If you miss out on a weekly mission play one round per 2 points lost more. The more you miss the more you need to invest and it scales upwards quite dramatically. The 36 hours is a very rough estimate and likely on the high end. You will probably only need around 25 hours, if you follow the advice. If you can not invest that much, then do as much as you want and do not be frustrated to miss out on something. The system is set up the be this way dleiberately.
