Ambitious players look to move forward to bigger and better clubs in their careers and want to achieve as much as possible during their careers which they recognize, won't last forever. However this is a double edged sword because really ambitious players will expect high playing time, high status, high wages, but have a great attitude towards training and have high determination to succeed. Meanwhile if the player has low ambition they don't take their careers so seriously which affects their training ratings and ability to perform under pressure. I personally prefer to have some ambition in a player, but not too much. High ambition in itself doesn't have a big effect on development. Most of it is still determined by player's professionalism. However it does increase training ratings, making the development easier to obtain. Ambitious players usually get good training ratings from the get go rather than having to push them to do better. Low temperament players will have problems with discipline on and off the field and will be vocal about their issues if they won't be treated to their own standards. Meanwhile players with high temperament can be role models as well as good players for team cohesion and chemistry in the locker room. I don't find this hidden attribute particularly important. If its not really low it won't make a huge difference. However its beneficial if you have players who have high leadership and influence in the squad. This will help day to day management since captains can be expected to put out some of the fires that come up when you have an ambitious squad fighting for time on the pitch. Players with high sportsmanship are usually well respected in the eyes of the fans and the media. However in itself sportsmanship isn't really something you need to have. Player with 1 sportsmanship can easily become a world class player if other hidden attributes are good enough. Same cannot be said from some other hidden attributes. Players with high loyalty value their club highly and want to keep playing for their team for years to come and are willing to compromise on their goals, ambitions and finances to keep playing for the shirt. Players with low loyalty are opportunists and will seek to leave at first possible opportunity, especially at the times of hardship. This is a another double edged sword. If the player is an absolute beast, high loyalty is great, but if he is not and you want to sell them, it can be really difficult because the player will reject contract offers from other teams. However great players with low loyalty will be very hard to keep, but on the bright side bad players with low loyalty are easier to offload. Controversy 😈 Importance: ⭐⭐ Highest Rated PersonalitiesRange (Average)Charismatic Leader05-05 (5) Very Loyal 01-13 (5) Honest01-15 (6) Light-Hearted01-17 (6) Model Citizen01-18 (7) Jovial01-20 (6) (Controversy is measured from 1 to 20 like the rest of the attributes however lower controversy is better than high controversy) Controversy is another attribute that measures player's state of mind and ability to handle negative situations on and off the pitch. Players with good controversy rating stay professional even when the team is struggling and if they don't get the treatment they deserve. Meanwhile players with bad controversy rating will make their voice heard both in the locker room as well as in the media. They can be difficult to deal with and harm team morale and atmosphere. More experienced managers can usually talk these players down, but managers with less experience will have more issues with these kind of players. The importance of this attribute really comes down to how good you are with player management and talking them down when they have issues about something. Notes about Personalities Before we start rifling through personalities i want to go through some things that will play an important role in this guide. One is player's media handling style. Many personalities have very high ranges on hidden attributes some attributes can even be anything from 1 to 20 which is where media handling style step in. Media handling styles give you more information about your player's hidden attributes. For example Model Professional sounds like a great personality, but in itself the only thing that is guaranteed about it is that it has maximum professionalism possible. Rest of the attributes are more or less a mystery and that's not ideal. But if you know that the player's media handling style is say "Evasive" you will have more information to work with. Media Handling Styles [1/2] Media Handling Styles act as more information about a player's personality. Many personalities have wide ranges on attributes that are important so knowing a player's media handling style can be very important. Player's media handling style can be found from the player profile under the "information" tab.

Player Information Tab I will go through each and every base media handling style so that you can combine this information with the information of their personality which i will go through later. (Player can also have multiple media handling styles in which case the game will use both the highest attributes and lowest attributes from each media handling style and mix them together in a way that you get both the best out and worst out of both worlds.) Only negative thing i can come up with is the relatively low ambition which can lead to problems getting good training ratings, possibly slowing down player development. If you like living on the edge, find this media handling style and balanced personality so that you will know absolutely nothing about the player and figure things out over time. This is a tier that contains personalities that are still above average, but not as good as the personalities before. Some of these have notable weaknesses which is why they weren't picked to the previous tier. I expect to get a lot of feedback of this particular tier. Obviously 20 pressure and high average on important matches is great, but that range in professionalism disappoints me big time in such rare personality. Missing out on two professionalism based Media Handling styles (Reserved & Confrontational) is devastating to this personality because getting high professionalism out of this personality is now even more rare. Competes with Spirited, Resilient and Light-Hearted which you see all the time in players which is why this personality is in the 2nd tier. However if you can find one, this personality combined with evasive media handling style is one of the best personalities in the whole game.
