The aim is to get Nikki's from all over playing the instruments around the Sea of Stars stage and your Homes (you can build your own stage) (THIS IS CURRENTLY A WORK IN PROGRESS, pardon our dust) We also accept requests and community created music notes. Which instruments are available? Here is a list of all the Instrument Outfits you can play with currently in Infinity Nikki: Violinist (everyone starts with this) - 14 or 21 keys (not controllable) Frog Chorus Pipa - Chinese Lute - 14 or 21 keys Dizi - Chinese Flute - 14 keys only, includes 'Vibrato' Lyre - Harp - 14 or 21 keys Electrical Guitar - 14 or 21 keys, also includes 'Distortion' and 'Power Chord' additonal row of notes Sea of Stars (NOT OUTFIT) musical stage floor All musical outfits (except the Frog Chorus) follow 7 keys so each song can be broken down to follow this pattern, some instruments off additional notes such as the 14 key (7 lower and 7 middle keys) and the 21 key (7 lower, 7 middle and 7 higher keys). Musical Instruments can also have special effects such as the Dizi - Chinese Flute which has a Vibrato (a wiggle to your notes) and the Electric Guitar which has the extra row for Power Chords. In future we plan to add a section to explain how to make some good background music using the Sea of Stars musical stage floor (jump and plummet on any square to activate the musical loops) For the purpose of this guide to make it accessible to everyone we have decided to stick with the simplified numbers for notes and not use the 'Solfege' - lettered notes which dedicated musicians use, as we are just here to have fun and spread the music however feel free to play with whatever makes you comfortable. Keys and How to Play Them MOBILE If you are on mobile its a case of simply tapping the numbers (or letters) to play the notes, PC/Laptop (EPIC or STEAM) if you are playing on PC you can also click on the numbers, or pressing the corresponding keys under the number to make the music. its recommended that you type the notes using the lettered keys so the music is paced better and sounds like the original songs (although this guide uses the english QWERTY keyboard and we understand that other countries may have their own language keyboards which may not line up, in this case you can use the number references) The notes have been broken down into three rows of seven keys(except the electric guitar which has a 4th hidden row) In this guide we will use the numbers and keyboard letters (english/QWERTY keyboard) to explain how to play the songs. Lowest Row - this is shown numbered with a low dot (1. / 2. / 3.) however in this guide we will just refer to it as consecutive numbers to keep things basic, that way you can change the key if you like. You can also use a controller with the computer (WIP) CONSOLE (PS5) You can use the controller to play the notes (WIP * I dont have this console so I would appreciate community helping me with this one) for now you should be able to follow the numbered notes to understand which ones to activate.
