Hi fellows truckers! I'm a real-life 62 old fart international truck-driver with 36 years of doing this miserable lovely and most wonderful job! After playing these games (ATS/ETS2) for years only with the keyboard (short time playing most of it I'm on the road), recently I've bought a Logitech G923+Logitech Shifter! Trying to make this wheel to "feel" like my real truck driving it has cost me quite a good few hours of tweaking, turning and cursing those buttons of "Controls" and "Game Preferences". With lot of patience and very much bad anger finally I've got it. I must add here I've watched all the youtube videos I found and read all I could find on the forums but I never found a bit of reason or help the only thing was I lost a lot of my time and I had to do it myself! Must be 2-3 things happening here: 1) The majority of people here on these games has never touched or drove a real truck in their life (this is for sure by amount of extremely stupid "realistic" mod and discussions I found on internet) 2) The G923 steering-wheels must be not exactly similar one each other! (otherwise I can't explain the lack of "realism" that many users complains blaming Logitech of doing bad hardware) 3) At least in these 2 games (others I have never tried), it is absurd to expect absolute realism. After all, its only games! But approaching the reality of a real steering-wheel it's possible with patience and a few hours of driving and changing, testing and repeating until you have it. I've got it! Almost real and I like it! Nevertheless, If I was only lucky or this wheel is indeed as good as Logitech claims, anyway I can say now, I have almost an excellent G923 - "almost" because of the horrible sound of the FFB (Force Feedback) which in my configuration I've significantly reduced for being able to play in the night without awake all my neighbours - and I'm enjoying every time I play ATS/ETS2 (in terms of driving, because otherwise this game it's a big sh... older than my grandma speaking about "gaming modern capabilities" let's say). Please, feel free to leave your comments or curses, I'm happy to learn how your driving is and if you are happy with buying this steer and also happy to help anyone who may need (if I could of course, I'm not God neither the "knowing-everything" guy! Here the Spanish translation: ¡Hola compañeros camioneros! ¡En la vida real soy un camionero de rutas internacionales (Europa) de 62 años con 36 haciendo este miserable encantador y maravilloso trabajo! Después de jugar estos juegos (ATS/ETS2) durante años solo con el teclado (poco tiempo jugando la mayor parte estoy en la carretera), ¡recientemente compré un Logitech G923 + Logitech Shifter! Tratar de "sentir" este volante como si fuera el de mi camión real me ha costado bastantes horas de ajustes, mover y maldecir esos botones de "Controles" y "Preferencias de juego". Con mucha paciencia y mucho más cabreo por fin lo he conseguido. Debo agregar aquí que he visto todos los videos de youtube que encontré y leí todo lo que pude encontrar en los foros, pero nunca encontré un poco de razón o alguna ayuda, ¡lo único, fue que perdí mucho de mi tiempo y tuve que al final hacerlo yo mismo! Debe haber 2-3 cosas sucediendo aquí: 1) La mayoría de la gente aquí en estos juegos nunca han tocado o conducido un camión real en su vida (esto es seguro por la cantidad de mods "realistas" extremadamente estúpidos y monton de explicaciones e ideas tontas que encontré en Internet) 2) ¡Puede ser que los volantes G923 no sean exactamente identicos?!? (de lo contrario no puedo explicar la falta de "realismo" que muchos usuarios se quejan culpando a Logitech de hacer mal accesorio) 3) Al menos en estos 2 juegos (otros no he probado nunca), es absurdo esperar obtener absoluto realismo. Al fin y a cabo son juegos! Pero acercarte a la realidad de un verdadero volante sí que es posible con paciencia y algunas horas de puebas conduciendo, cambiando, probando y repetir hasta lo tengas. Yo lo tengo! Casi real y me gusta! Sin embargo, sea que solo tuve suerte o este volante es tan bueno como afirma Logitech, de todos modos puedo decir ahora, que tengo un casi excelente G923 - "casi" debido al horrible sonido del FFB (Force Feedback) que en mi configuración he reducido significativamente para poder jugar en la noche sin despertar a todos mis vecinos - y que disfruto con él cada vez que juego ATS/ETS2 (en términos de conducción, porque de lo contrario este juego es una gran mi... más antiguo que mi abuela si hablamos de "juegos con capacidades modernas", digamos).
