Greetings, Swordsmen! A new update has arrived with a host of fixes and improvements aimed at enhancing your journey through the martial world. Whether you're pursuing the main storyline or exploring side quests, these changes should provide a smoother and more enjoyable experience. Below are the full patch details: Fixes Fixed a bug in [MAIN STORY] Become Discipline Disciple where if you hadn’t officially defeated Master Daotong, the pre-requisite quest [AFFILIATION QUEST] Daowei's Request for [SIDE QUEST] Silk Feast might not trigger. (Players who are stuck at this stage and have completed Pili School and Myriad Shots, please head to the Swordplay Platform in the center of Wudang after updating to trigger Daowei's Request.) Fixed a bug in [MAIN STORY] Jade Dragon's Roar where Yao Ji could not enter the Xuanhuo Cult after joining your party. Fixed the incorrect usage condition for the Sacred Rippling Springs Spear Blueprint, it can now be used directly. Fixed incorrect classification for Chaos Martial Codex - Yin and Chaos Martial Codex; both are now correctly listed under Xuanhuo Cultivation Method. Fixed a bug where equipping both Storm Gallop and Swaying Pines would increase skill cooldowns after triggering the linked movement effect. Fixed a bug in the level 5 effect of Conquest Expedition, where movement was incorrectly reducing damage mitigation instead of increasing it. Fixed an issue where after Battle of Skylinemont or during the Shaolin infiltration storyline, Di Zui would not return the Bodhi Prayer Beads equipment as expected. Fixed the achievement "Master Of Fist Techniques" not unlocking correctly. Fixed an issue where, after failing the quest [SIDE QUEST] Silk Feast, parts of the quest could still incorrectly trigger in Hepu Manor. Fixed an issue where the assassination cutscene involving Yao Ji at night in Hepu Manor could not be skipped. Fixed a text error in the ultimate move of Song of the Phoenix. Fixed an issue where the quest item Qingyun Fan Art could be used multiple times incorrectly. Fixed an issue where after using a Shen Pearl, the cultivation method slots wouldn’t refresh properly in the interface. Fixed a bug where Nameless Island and Immortal's Village functions could stop working after combat. Fixed incorrect storage cap for harvest attempts on Nameless Island. Fixed an issue where using Seafood Egg Custard would not display buff stacks correctly, and incorrect HP would be restored after meditation. Fixed description and classification errors for Stewed Five Sea Treasures in the cooking interface. Fixed Mu Hanmei's cooking level being stuck at 0 (requires a new save file to take effect). Fixed incorrect protagonist outfits in ending animations for The Martial Alliance Leader, The Martial World Leader, and Serenity Lake. Fixed Lianxin's dialogue portrait being incorrect during the Silk Feast animation. Fixed a display issue where Lü Xian'er's stat increase text did not show properly after completing Mu Ai’s trial (actual stats were still gained correctly). Fixed an issue where healing Thunder Envoys would cause ally stat increase texts to repeat (actual effects were not duplicated). Fixed UI box not displaying correctly when obtaining Eastern Sea Pearl during an appointment at Pingkang Inn (item was still properly received). Added missing text description for Astral Mirage level 10 effect noting Agility +35 (text only, effect unchanged). Added missing text description for Monkey Dance level 10 effect noting Agility +10 (text only, effect unchanged). Fixed a description error for Drifting Cloud Tai Chi Fist and Drifting Cloud Tai Chi Swordplay level 10 effects. Changed from “Did not move and did not use any Martial Points this turn” to “Did not move or did not use any Martial Points” (text only, effect unchanged). Fixed an incorrect skill range image for Shangqing Wind and Cloud Method. Fixed display errors for new dish buff icons in Secrets of the Eastern Sea. Fixed various typos. Attempted Fixes Attempted to fix a bug where two duplicate party members could appear on Nameless Island. Attempted to fix a bug where two instances of Bu Weiyue might appear in the cutscene at Immortal's Crossing. Attempted to fix a softlock issue during the Bitterwater Village vs Kama fight when using Qingyun Fan Art - Immortal's Descent. Optimizations A new pirate flagship boss has been added to the sea north of Immortal's Island, drops a random red Flower upon defeat. Sandbox Battle Simulation stages now support a skip function. Quick sell no longer requires selecting a quantity manually. Forging, Tailor, Alchemy, and Cooking now support batch crafting. A new Stage Station has been added in the Mirage Waters region. Interact with the courier on the nearby overworld map to activate it. Simplified system text during “Learn All” actions. In New Game+ runs, you can now skip all ending cutscenes and proceed directly to results. Appointment reward for choosing the paper fan route has been updated to match the iron fan route. Added right-click to close functionality in the Ancient Diagrams mini-game interface. Added overall difficulty notes in the Mirage Realms UI. Important Note If you’ve installed any mods in your game directory previously, this update may cause errors or prevent the game from starting due to mod incompatibility. To resolve this, please uninstall any mods you’ve added: Go to your game library → Right-click Wandering Sword → Manage → Browse local files → Delete everything under Wandering_SwordContentPaks. Then, verify the integrity of the game files and restart the game. If Steam is unable to update the game, try deleting the steam.cfg file in your Steam folder and restart Steam. Note: As of Jan 1, 2024, Steam no longer supports Windows 7 and Windows 8. If deleting steam.cfg doesn’t work, please verify your operating system version. That wraps up today’s update.
