I like gun, I very much like gun, and MGSV has many gun, but these gun I never hear of, MGSV, like many other modern game with gun, make different name for gun, me not sure why, all me can guess is copyright law, like EA having to buy rights to car so it can feature car. But with me big brain knowledge of gun, I know many gun, so here are the gun with their real life counterpart, Pistols Pistols in the context of MGSV refer to handguns be they automatic or semi-automatic, applying to both handguns, revolvers and more nuanced forms such as handcannons, note that because I don't recognise a lot of these guns, I can't make a good guess as to their actual form, so here are they are, AM D114 The Arms Material Delta 144 is a .45 Cal. "automatic" (Kojima really needs to learn that semi-automatic guns can't always be automatic guns, smh.), tbh, semi-automatic pistol, with a wooden grip and sturdy chassis, those with a keen eye will know that the AM D114 and it's counterparts refer to the famous Colt Model 1911, used in both world wars, Burkov I'm not exactly sure which gun the Burkov is taking inspiration from here, but the Burkov is either the Tokarev or the Makarov, Geist P3 The Geist Pistol 3 is obviously the Glock 18, an automatic pistol from Austrian knife designer turned gun manufacturer Glock, Fun Fact : the numbers of the Glocks aren't named after how many bullets they carry in a magazine, but rather how many patent attempts it took to get the gun finalised, the Glock 17 took 17 attempts, and the Glock 18 took 18 attempts, for the record, yes, Glock's entry into the firearms market was a very rough one, WU S333 CB Sp. Initially I thought that the Windurgers were the Remington 1858 New Army, but the New Army is a lever-action, and needs to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ back before each shot, but one of the DLCs adds in a Windurger with a finishing, and the 1858 was known for it's finishing, however, the name "Windurger" might be a play on "Winchester", however, Winchester probably never made any revolvers, so it's probably a set of revolvers made by one of the following companies : Colt Smith & Wesson Winchester Taurus Webley & Scott Sturm, Ruger & Co Remington Arms Speaking of Taurus, URAGAN-5 The URAGAN-5 is probably the "Judge" a revolver made by Taurus, one of the 3 guns in the "lawmen" style that Taurus made, these guns, named Jury (a revolver carbine), Judge (a revolver) and the Executioner (another revolver), each of them is meant to be an extremely powerful gun, complimenting each other, when I think of these guns, I like to have this saying in my head "If you survive the accusations of Jury, you still need to hear what the Judge has to say, and if the Judge finds you guilty and you don't die of shock, it'll probably be the Executioner what kills you instead." But that aside, the URAGAN-5 is the Judge, why? Because the Judge is the revolver in this series that fires shotshells and has 5 rounds in the chamber, whereas the Jury is a carbine, with a stock and a carbine barrel, and the Executioner doesn't exactly use shotshells and also has 6 rounds in it's cylinder, so yeah, the URAGAN-5 is the Taurus Judge, TORNADO-6 This gun is used by Revolver Ocelot himself, if you played MGS3 and MGS1, you'll know that the gun he uses is the 1873 classic that is the Colt Single Action Army, Simultaneously, this gun does have a strange look, like that of a Mateba, but at the same time, neither Ghost In The Shell or the Mateba Unica 6 existed in 1984, and I don't think Ocelot reads manga, SMGs SMGs, yes, SMGs, the rottweiler of firearms, small, fast, but overall, as an Imperial Guard would put it "all flash, and no fury", which is why there are so cool, lightweight and generally very quiet, albeit, literal recoil demons, Ze'ev Obviously the Uzi, next gun, Macht 37 The Maschinen Taktische Pistole 37 obviously refers to Heckler & Koch's usual Sub-Machine PDW series, The Macht 37 refers to the MP5, the Macht 37L is an unsure one for me, maybe the MP5/10? Who knows, really, The Macht 37K is obviously the Heckler & Koch Machinen Pistolen 5 Karabiner (MP5K), in other words, the best MP5 variant, Or would that be the Macht P5-Weiss? Sz. SMG It's quite plausible that the Sz. guns are the Czech Vz. Skorpions, Assault Rifles It should be noted that some LMGs are also grouped in with Assault Rifles in this game, I will mention them though, let's go through them shall we, SVG-76 The Gryzov Assault Rifle 76 is obviously the Kalashnikov AK-74, which is the successor to the AK47, SVG-67 The SVG-67 is obviously the beloved AK-47, the famous 7.62 rifle that has made it's mark as the most owned assault rifle in the world, SVG-67U and SVG-76U The U guns are the lightweight versions of these AK locales, in real life, there are in fact lightweight versions, some, like the AKU12 never made it to the market, however, for clarification, because of the way Kalashnikov names it's guns, one might assume these lightweight versions are suppressed, which they aren't, eitherway, the SVG-76U is obviously the AK74S, except it's not called the AK74S, but rather the "Krinkov", the AK47S I'm not sure.... PG-67 The PG-67 is an LMG, based on the original RPK, which is the LMG variant of the AK47, PG-76 The PG-76 is obviously the RPK-74, the LMG variant of the AK74, AM MRS-4 This is one of the first guns you get used to, as I explained with the pistols, my guess is that AM is Colt, the MRS-4 is probably the M16 series, one person interpreted that AM is FN, which is wrong, FN have never made good hand guns (any attempts to inform me that there is a pistol called the Five Seven are doomed to fail) The MRS-4LS is probably a Colt LMG or something, HOWEVER, Someone did say that the MRS series may be Galils and they might be right, the AM MRS-4LS does have a silly handguard, My friend from Israel does believe the AM MRS guns are IMI Galils, but I'm not so sure, as the Galil 5.56 variants use 35 round magazines, and this "AM" company also made the AM D114 guns so... UN-ARC The UN-ARC are listed as UN guns, however, the grips they use are listed in-game as European, and so it should be noted that the UN-ARC is probably the Belgian manufacturer FN's guns, so the UN-ARC is probably the FN FAL and such, At the same time it is green, and the gun might possibly be a G3, and now time for me fav'rites G44 At first I thought it was the G36, but we have to remember that the G44 is a bullpup, and the G36 did not exist until (I think) post Cold-War, but turns out the G44 is probably the HK G11, however the G11 feeds the magazine from the front, weird. Shotguns Most of these are hard for me to interpret, so I'll do my best, The RASP guns obviously have to be the Stevens DB, a shotgun made famous by DOOM, hell, Konami even put in the "Sawed Off", listed as the TB-SG SB The S1000s are probably a Mossberg 500, initially I thought they were a Remington 870 until I was talking to a friend about intersex people and after agreeing with him that intersex really just means "built different" he said "I want my slug Mossberg 500 now", and then it hit me LIKE A TRUCK, the S1000 IS THE MOSSBERG 500, The Kabarga 83 is either the DBV-12 or the disgusting and horrifyingly inaccurate disaster that is the Saiga 12, the BullHorn SG is obviously the KSG-12, don't believe me? Paint it green. sneprs ye Grenade Launchers and Rocket Launchers will come at a later date, Anyways. the Renov-ICKX SR is obviously the Mosin Nagant, As for the BIS, I don't know, but it's probably a Mosin Nagant with a larger receiver and fitted with a round with so much rifling and gunpowder that causes it to have a large penetration depth, The M2000-D is probably the Remington 700, I'm not exactly sure what other gun it could be, The Bambetov is either the Dragunov SVDS or the Dragunov SVU, the SVDS because of the time period, or the SVU because of the firerate, the SVDS, although stronger than the SVU, suffers from a weak firerate, but it's more likely it's the SVU. The AM-MRS guns in here are hard to interpret, but I do still believe with certainty that AM is obviously Colt, however, I am going to regret this, but since I do know that FN made DMRs, I'm going to have to regretfully say that the MRS-71 and 73 are the SCAR SSR and the SA58 SPR, At the same time they could be the MGS90 or it's variant, the PSG-1, The Brennan LRS-46, from looks alone, could immediately be one of Accuracy International's AW snipers, however, in MGSV this gun is chambered in .50 BMG. Accuracy International only has two rifles that use .50 BMG, the AW50 and AX50, it's obviously not the AX50 because it does not carry the distinct green tint seen on many AW rifles, not to mention it's been in service since 2010, whereas the AW50 was in service since 2000, so it's more likely that the Brennan LRS-46 is an AW50, at the same time though, it's probably not either, and is probably one of the older rifles, maybe one of the AW rifles, or most likely, forgetting the .50 BMG round used, is the L96A1 or a later variant, as it was first made in 1982, Initially I thought the Serval AMR7 was the M107, I was later informed that it's more likely the Gepard GM6 Lynx, The Molotok is possibly the Hecate II, as both have that neat muzzle brake, but I should note that this is speculation as the Hecate II is a French weapon and the name "Molotok" sounds very Eastern European, possibly Balkan too, LMGs This one's a bit tough but here goes, The ALM is probably the M60 The UN-AAM is probably either the SCAR HAMR, HK21 or MG3KWS, The LPG-61 is the RPD from Kalashnikov, and thats it FAQ Q : Will you update this guide A : lol no Q : You got the guns wro- A : Ah-ah... tshh! I am a correct opinion haver, I am the baseline for all opinions, do not tell me I am wrong because even if I am I will deny that I am because admitting that I'm wrong is bad for my beloved, sweet little ego, (Jokes aside, feedback is appreciated, so if you believe I wrongly attributed a gun, please feel free to leave a comment, I check in on this guide from time to time, and when enough info has accumulated, I update it using your suggestions,) Sidenote : The Isando RGL-220 is the Milkor MGL,
