ok let get to the family trees! Starting off strong Anubis! Melpaca + Nitewing = Vanwyrm Vanwyrm + Cinnamoth = Anubis Whup! First pal on the list and we can already have the possibility of max crafting speed. This is the way I recommend to achieve said goals: Hunt Cinnamoth until you can find one with "artisan" and another with "Remarkable Craftsmanship" hopefully of different genders to make a cinnamoth with both. Although it will take time for that, your local Cinnamoth in there area are extremely common. Plus since you are gonna capture them all day, you may find one with a really good passive or great IV's by mistake. Then get serious and work slave on the Melpaca + Nitewing combo to get a Vanwyrm with both. Hope you have one male and one female and BOOM! Queen and king for crafting. OR You can have a complete random Vanwyrm and Cinnamoth to butcher the Anubises to get bones and large pal soul, both of which are 100% chance to drop. You can also get manuals for the tec tree, but there like 1% chance so don't hold your breath on that one. Rayhound! Direhowl + Nitewing = rayhound Ok... Why this guy busted? Have you ever try to move fast in a dungeon with your favourite pal? Well I bet the answer is no since they get stuck all the time. This pal small and fast, what not to love. If you're gonna breed your best friend for dungeon. try to make a build with legend, swift, runner and Eternal engine or a mix with some compromise. Also you better remember this pal for later... Faleris? Ok at first I was ignoring him as a reusable bridge point. But it look like this bird with a nice breath got a update that trows a ranch in my own guide. To get one breed vanwyrm + Anubis. since by that point you may have a anubis with max crafting speed. It might be a good idea to pass down all the skills to Faleris to get insurance for late game breedding. Orif you do like the bird, its usable when your lv38 and can be use all the way to end game with minimum issue... aside of feabreak and the oil rigs that is, do to the enemys "heavy artillery" has. grass wai- *EH-HUM* Lyleen! Direhoul + CInnamoth = Petallia Mossanda + Petallia = Lyleen. Well shoot we need a mossanda. Better go hunt for one now. Just kidding! we have the possibility to be lazy. Faleris + Cinnamoth = mossanda Lyleen revue:Lyleen is both one of the best healer, one of the best farming pal for the plantations and is great at making medicines or potions. useful all around and has base stats of 110 for both HP & ATK and 105 DEF so you can use it for combat in a pinch. If you prefer a goth waifu aka lyleen noct. breed Lyneen with a Menasting. you can get a menasting with Relasaurus + Beakon. Lyleen noct lose the usefulness for the plantations but get a +10 in her defence and is one gorgeous looking med-pack. Jormuntide brothers! Faleris + Lyleen = jormuntide for ignis: Caprity + Cinnamoth = Blazehowl jormuntide + Blazehowl = J - ignis revue:The big J's are a wing and wang for there own field. Need max watering? Other side note: Do to the sheer size of both of them. there the only pals in the game I personally recommend never getting them in alpha size for any reason other then having extra HP for raid bosses. Grizzbolt + Cryolinx = astegon Hey look who relevant now. Look I try my best to find a way to get Cryolinx without leaving the base. the lowest level combo you can get cryolinx are: grizzbolt + suzaku grizzbolt + bellanoir or relaxaurus lux + bellanoir You can all so try to fight them on there turf in the big mountain. They're not rare but they're never alone and are level 40 to 50. Sound like pain? Well I like cheese and I bet you do to. You have 2 choice. Buy one from a black marketeer or get lucky with wild large or huge frozen eggs Go to the desert to buy the cold or the Multiclimate Undershirt from the duneshelter, craft a tundra outfit or cold pelt armour, craft a torch and fly FAST on a pal in the big mountain. And then hope said cryolinx have one passive you care about or no passive skill at all. Astegon revue: "A savage beast born of the abyss. Thou shall not stand before the beast. Thou shall not heed the beast." because said beast is ready to be royalty for what shall be the new abyss. type: dark / dargon hp:100 atk:125 def:125 A respectable 350 base stat total same as jormuntie. Partner Skill: Black Ankylosaur Can be ridden as a flying mount. Increases the damage dealt to ores, and you can obtain more Ore while mounted. As for the work skills we have mining 4 and handiwork 1. Although there are many pals with mining 4, Astegon is the only reasonable one to achieve max mining even if to get one in the first place is a long and restricted process. the blazamuts might as well be a legendary pals in terms of breading and Knocklem is far too good of a warrior to be wasted as a base pal even with the transporting 4. but... there is a reason why you may not go for max mining. you may like your astegon to be the destroyer it's meant to be. and oh boy this beast can be one. since with his ability, max damage passive and a "lighting strike" skill fruit no ore nodes on the map will survive his attacks to the point that the pickaxes are pointless to craft. and if i may add this. he might be the best pal to be in alpha size despite being huge. the boost of HP it give by being a alpha is gonna make astegon a greater tank then he was all ready. Shadowbeak! Ok not only I'm gonna give you Shadowbeak. I'l give you the best Shadowbeak possible. Nox + CInnamoth = kitsun Make sure that kitsun as "Demon god" and Musclehead. let me explain "Demon god". You may have notice that lucky and legend got a different texture. And that i spoke of the passive call'd "Remarkable Craftsmanship". Well those are now the I guess you can call them "rainbow passive". Those are extremely rare but give a extreme boost. "Demon god" is one of them and it give 30% more atk and 5% def. astegon + kitsun = shadowbeak What come next is for end-game players only: Get necromus for legend and bellanoir libero for "siren of the void" Lyleen + Necromus = astegon with legend. jormentide + Bellanoir libero = astegon with siren of the void. if siren of the void is not your fancy, you can replace this combo for one with ferocious or diamond body. But i'l stick to what i said, do to shadowbeak passive and to give cover for dragon with ice moves. mix the two astegon. then finally achieve the last steeping stone to finally have your max out shadowbeak. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Revue"Born from the depths of insanity, its very existence defies reason. Omascul the exp "pal"Omascul is... Surely a "pal" in this game... Why i say "pal" like that? Because this THING is creepy and weird as hell. Once you got one you WILL get it. Anyway let go on the revue: this THING as: HP: 95 ATK: 105 DEF: 100 His a dark type and has the ability to give more exp to the entire team in the party, up to 20% at 4 stars. This one really good to grind exp faster the more you get bigger numbers of exp. and with good stats to boot, you can have a max level one then grind for 4 pals at a time easily. Now with a ability like that you would guess a very restricted or hard to get pal early. and you would be correct but i find a few cracks one being Dinossom + Nitewing or Swee. Prunelia. the expansive queen of harvestAlthough i still believe lyleen is still better for a good if not all chunks of the game. Once you can reliably get the rare work-skill upgrade book there no pal i can think of, that can abuse it more then Prunelia. what she can do in the base is planting and medicine production at lv3, gathering at level 2-ish then handiwork and transporting at lv1. This is solid. But it's not the best. On the topic of level 2-ish gathering come it passive that boost the reword by 35% at max star level. that is a really REALLY good passive. and i'm sure you can imagine how good it can be. The problem are the books. There super rare until you finish all the mission in the "Pal Labor Research Laboratory". ones finish go salvage sea debry next to the feabreak island with Jellroys for extra loot. To get this pal as early as possible is oddly chikipi + rushoar. so it rather easy to get one with max crafting. Once you do have all the books and the condensing needed for level 5 on all her passive. she will be able to flat out free space in your base up to 5 slot and put whatever else you need. it will take time but its the ultimate reward. lullu and Shroomer noct.for lullu you need Eikthyrdeer + melpaca. not only it make no sense but is EXTREMELY useful. what a lullu dos is making plantation grow faster passively at the base. for shroomer noct you need melpaca + anubis. if you have read the guide you all ready have a anubis. shroomer and it noct version are "emotional support dogs" for your pals making it so sanity goes slower when there at the base. there all so "emotional support dogs" for the player do to there cuteness. both passive stack with themselves. i say 2 4star at a base is already plenty. and there build... frankly dos not matter in the slightest. I guess max stomach so they don't eat often... or max crafting to help in the base. it is funny to see lullu spine... maybe max attack do to events. they are there more for there passive then anything else so why not. Bralohaa pal with STRONG utility. packing both level 4 in planting and gathering making it the best for gardens right of the bat. but Prunelia is better ones invested and that undeniable. how ever. the game changer is it ability. While at a base, shortens the time it takes Pals assigned to Breeding Farm to produce eggs. by 50% at level 4 (Effect does not stack.) this is MASSIVE. compressing both the cake farm and the breeding farm in one base is always great since a free base for basically anything else is always good. here come the problem. the dev knew that and made sure there is genuinely no cheese. or at list the type of cheese this guide is normally doing. but there is one combo that more usable then others. Xenovader + grizzbolt. xenovader is... a pal i have intentionally skip in this entire guide. there is a lot of great combos with the pals. my problem is that its a even pal tide with a lot of unreliable luck. something that go's against the entire guide. even at the Xenogard section of the guide i have given spot that cheese the fight and the odds as much as possible. i cant do that this time. so the fact i'm telling you this, should be considered a warning in it of itself how bad the breeding sabotage is. but hey at list its using grizzbolt so easy passives at list... so long you find a xenovader with just its unique passive so you can replace it at the surgery table for a less migraine induce experience... something you don't unlock until level 36... yeah no, good luck cheesing this one up. MEAT! This part of the guide will help you get meat for your grills. All the pals here can and are need to be butchered for raw meat. Do to this factor, philanthropist + nocturnal is the way to go, so the pals in the farm can breed 24/7 so long you have cakes. you can also use braloha for making the process faster. ( go to "Pals with utility" for more ) LET BEGINThere only 2 pals that is just better to hunt them. they are lamball and chikipi for extremely obvious reasons that I don't even need to type here. though i will make a foot note on chikipi. chikipi is the only pal aside of the legendarys that cant be breed outside of it main spacemen. so you better capture them for passive or use the surgery table for getting one that lays a lot of eggs. 3 Rushoarlamball or cattiva with a chillet, melpaca with depresso or hoocrates. You can also find them est of the first tower boss. 4 Mozzarinafoxparks + nitewing. make sure you can make one that can produce a lot of milk 5 Capritylet skip this one. since you all ready need one for the main tree. 6 Eikthyrdeerif you're desperate do lifmunk + nitewing. otherwise just grab some. there not hard to find right out the beginning. also this thing has 400% buff for wood cutting if you care about that. 7 Dumudrushoar + vanwyrm. very useful to get quality pal oil early and give you access to the best food for a workspeed buff. 8 Galeclawrushoar + Eikthyrdeer or Caprity 9 ReindrixFuack + nitewing 10 Kelpsearushoar + foxparks, depresso or hoocrates... Then there the pals we all ready cover lyleen as one of the best healer but that's a long time to wait to breeding everything up. And I can hear some player needing good healing NOW. Well you may like to take a look at Lovander and Felbat. both have the same ability (While fighting together, damage = hp) -----------------------------------------------------------------------Lovander is really easy to find. there legit a raid even call "fan girl" that just toast lovanders to your door. If you prefer getting one without waiting. the small desert (the one that has the anubis boss) at night can spawn them. or buy one at the duneshelter You can all so breed one up with lamball and sweepa if your that desperate for heals and a "nice view". -----------------------------------------------------------------------Felbat on the other hand is harder to get but far more rewording. first of all, the base stats for one way better then lovander. Sure it's not gonna help much against dragons but dark type are extremely common in plaworld. in other words your lovander which not only have less defence and attack can get demolish a lot more then Felbat. Mountain Stream Grotto caves can spawn them, you can buy one with black marketeers, capture the lv23 boss at -411. -55 or... melpaca + rushoar give you a Felbat... I did say it was harder. I never say'd it was by much. anyway the build gonna be the same for both pals. Legend, diamond body, demon god and serenity. with a balance move set and overtime damage like burning or toxic, you can have 2 pals that can technically never die on 1vs1 depending on what you fight with great healing for you as well. in fact: i have the best armour in the game as of the tide of terraria update and with the legendary charge rifle i can just tank the helicopter fight attacks with a lovander giving me the regen. its honestly very dumb who good the healing is. dog coin masters after testing and thx for some great people helping. i can finally cook a proper way for dog coins. but first let talk about mimog. mimog is a mimic dog like pal that like every other mimic worthy of the title, mimic chests. Where can you find one? Pretty much everywhere with the exception of any starting island, some extreme edges (we are talking 80 degrees and above like in the volcano) and for some reason the mushroom swamp. (probably do to the clutter there). There no family tree to breed up to one and only wild ones give dog coins. Though if you have nocturnal and philanthropist on both partners you can farm money, exp scroll and ancient parts with some luck by butchering. The main problem you may find will trying to get dog coins via mimog slaughter is that the second you hit them they dip at the speed of sound. most players and youtubers suggest killing them at the volcano scar next to the big desert and the giant skeleton. My problem is that the level of a mimog influence the amount of dog coins you get. in other words high level = more coins -----------------------------------------------------------------------so here my rhetorical questions. What A way to cheese the kill on high level ones as early as possible? Well technically all you need is a rushoar (or any mountable pal in the game for that mater) with the move shockwave, a ring of mercy and a katress. the idea is to give the mimog the electric chair till it has 1hp since shockwave stun. get off the mount, remove the ring, switch to katress do to it passive (which is extra loot from normal pals) then profit with a punch. This strategy work on ANY level mimog. But this is not the best way to do it. You can just use the meteor launcher or the rocket launcher with a katress for the same result since both weapon can stun and dos big damage. Though there loud af and it's costly to do early. So what the BEST way? Let me introduce to you blazehowl noct. This pal dos the 1st strategy in one bundle. Skipping the ring entirely. Though it is reserve for pretty much mid to late game players since you can only unlock't both mounting it AND it passive at level 35. But that dos not stop use to prepare in advance. The ONLY way to get one is by breeding Blazehowl + felbat. You can also find one at night in the volcano area or get lucky with huge fire eggs also at the volcano. If you're like me and going for overkill and overachieving. get legend from the horses or jetragon + a Tocotoco to get a Blazehowl with at list legend. the rest of the skills is... honestly up to your preference since it's a mountable pal. Ones you got you Blazehowl noct of choice. condense it so it's a 4star pal for even more loot from normal pals. aka more dog coins. then go to the highest pal level area. it will take a bit of time so I recommend you loot the pills of trash. They can all so give dog coin but not much. -----------------------------------------------------------------------there also the expeditions. ones you defeated all bosses on normal difficulty and the hard mod of the moonflower tower boss. you get assest to the moonflower secret hideouts mission. Once you can upgrade and have the firepower necessary you can farm dog coins, exp scrolls, both books for the tecnolegy tree and some money. -----------------------------------------------------------------------Now the best tip to have as much dog coins as possible is to not spend them. Or at list not waist it on useless stuff from the "medal merchant". medal merchant are golden recolour of the black marketer's and are really easy to find. just find a ruin'd church and use the fast-travel if you need shopping. Though some of what he sell are questionable investment at best or a out right waist of money. Let go in order of worst to best: - In dead last we have all 6 pal hats at 50 dog coins each: there hats. only buy one if you like say'd hat. - Are 2nd worst items on the list are all the player stats potions at 350 each: now. I can already ear you screaming at me saying "WHY in the hell it's a bad investment to get a permanent +2 for your stats?". and to that i say that the potions are WAY more easy to get in other ways, there a cap of points you can have in one stats and yes it can block the level up points to never be usable. I started a new world and never needed to buy one do to the supply drop having a guaranteed potion and i have about +12 IN EVERY STATS just from them. unless your swimming in dog coins and need those last points at max level. don't buy them -Up next is the ring of Freight +1 at 50 coins: It's help carrying more stuff and it's in rare form. it's not a "bad" perches but become useless later. -Next we have the "Ripe Awakening Starfruit " or the RAS for 2000 dog coin's: All though powerful if use correctly since it's a +1 star level for ANY pal. the RAS cost alone drop it down here. Yes, you will grind this eventually. But it's certainly not the best thing to buy unless you have a pal ready for war. -In 5th place we have the IV fruits for 500 coins: +10 IV in there respected stats is great if you're like me and can be bother'd to breed for IV and for fixing gap's in your pal for war you all ready own. and for 500 dog coins? it's a perfectly reasonable deal. -In 4rd place we have the "Box of Mystery Accessories" for 1000 coins. a 1000 coins for the 4th slot for Accessories? that reasonable. -in 3th place we have the collab legendary armor from ULTRAKILL. SOLD pice of armor that cost 750 dog coin. oh good you ask? both are as good as rare hexolite armour and are cheap to make... also V1 as vampiric on top of that... it may not be as good as the legendary version of the temperature / lightweight hexolite armor but still, this thing dumb. buy it at you're own descretion for a easy mod. -In 2nd is the Mysterious Accessory Box for 100 coins. a 100 coins and you all ready have a 3rd slot for Accessories? that really good and generous. -And finally at number 1 is the Multiclimate Undershirt +1 for... 100 dog coins??? ... I'm gonna be real... This need to be nerf to 1000 dog coins or be remove entirely. Since this is BUSTED The normal version of the Multiclimate Undershirt make it so you don't overheat or get frostbite damage by 1 stage. with armour you can remove 2 stage in both or get a immunity in one of them with there respected armour type. do to the op nature of the item, there's only one shop in the entire game that sells it and it's expansive in the dunshelter the Multiclimate Undershirt +1 remove 2 stage. with ANY body armour you already have immunity to the temperature mechanic. and it's in a shop that technically make it cheaper?!? would you like to know where you can only find one naturally? fighting bellanoir and winning. you're suppose to have THAT piece of gear after level 33 and not earlier. THIS IS SCHTEWPID OP FOR WHAT IT WORTH! humans ??? By the chance you don't know. yes you can capture humans and force then to do stuff for you. normally this is a bad-ish idea since human are not very useful but there MASSIVE exception. Let get some human "employees" shall-we? but first... The catch rate: Depending on the level of the human, they can and will have the same chance to be capture as the legendary boss pals or lower. so if you plan to do this only use the best sphere you have available. The quirks: If you are gonna boost one for fun you don't need to capture the same type of human to 4star one (you are gonna need a LOT of balls tho) list of notable humans merchant's:Every merchant can be capture and still work like normal. but there something fun you can do with pal related merchant. You can plop them in the base. check what they have, buy/sell, put him back in the box then put him back in the base for a fresh inventory of pals to buy. You can do this infinitely and get a tone of paid exp that way. and if it's a black marketeer you can get some REALLY good deals. NOTE: when you start a fresh new world/save file you may have notice that there a green merchant that come in your base at level 1 time to time. craft as many basic ball you can have, remove all your pal in the base and CAPTURE HIM ASAP. this dude is a god send and will be a permanent shop to go to. I'm in end game grinding all day and i still use him to buy what I need and sell what I don't. There also 2 red Coat merchant that sell pal-organs one at the small settlement selling electric, venom and flame organs and one at the duneshelter that sell ice organs you don't need to capture them but it is tempting just to be more lazy. rocket launching dude'sWhy is this guy noteworthy? Isn't the damage of a human laughable? Well yes but not for this one. For some reason the damage of the rocket launcher itself is put in to calculation on the "punch" attack. the end result is frankly really funny. This I know is 100% a bug. But it's a bug i hope never get patch since it really fun to use. After all. Human are a pain to catch so why not a fun and small reword for it. DR. Brawnthis extra shady guy is a surgeon on the same level of futurama zoidberg and... you know what i'm getting ahead of myself. let go in more details. when you have a partner pal out you can talk to this guy for a "surgery". what it is in game is a slot machine for passive and IV so let me explain this with a d-20. if you get a "NAT-1" not only you lose a lot of IV so your pal become worst but will also get or even REPLACE A PASSIVE WITH BAD ONES. i'm not joking i just use him on a legend only jetragon and now his a coward only jetragon. if you get a "NAT-20" you do get the chance if you're extra lucky to get passive like demon god with a huge boost in the IV's sadly this lazy ass *)&A_!+/ can only be use ones per in game days and IT APPLY TO CLONES YOU HAVE CAPTURED OR SEE IN THE WILD. yes it dos take forever to reuse him. but at list you "can" use him in order to get the good passive. so please use the following 3 tips: 1: only use pals that have nothing or pals you know you're gonna trash in some fashion. 2: never use him and left him to rot in the pal box once you did get the desired passive on any pal. or 3: did what I did and make a torturing human camp, force him to make money and making sure he stays miserable at all times. you can find him where human enemies can spawn. i use the small desert to catch him and frankly i rather waist cakes for passives. A shiver of damage boost What dos this title even mean? Well a shiver is the name form of "shivering" or shaking intensely do to a cold environment or intense sense of fear. it all so refer to a group of sharks It time to kick up shark related memes. Let talk about Gobfin. Gobfin is a name combining "fin" a body part for aquatic animal and "goblin" a monster in rpg games intentionally design to be weak and easy to grind or green, cute, pointy ear, "shortstack" individual in D&D campaigns and "notably suspicious" web site. Sadly we have the first one with stats of: 90 hp 90 atk and 75 defence But we cant care less about those stats, since we only care about it ability "Angry shark". angry shark dos two thing. dos a attack you're never gonna use and boost passively the player attack stats while in your party for a max boost of 20% at max star level. that is a nice boost until you remember that vanguard is a thing and learn that yes, they stack for a 30% boost. then you remember you have 5 slot in a team. you can do the math. to get one you have: pengullet + Dinossom rushoar + Direhowl caprity + gumoss, Tanzee or kelpsea elkthydeer + Tanzee Univolt + Chikipi and way more. I recommend you have 4 max out vanguard gobfins + stronghold strategist for extra defence. there a ignis version of the pal but i not gonna give it to you. The normal one are too easy to make. Warriors Bundle In this bundle we have pretty much pals just for combat. I'm sure you're smart to know what passive to use. though some have utility and will be noted if needed. incineram: nitewing + tombat / chillet / arsox hp: 95 atk: 100 def: 85 note: exchangeable with the bushis. if you prefer something a little bit more tanky, use incineram out of the two. it is a very reliable pal all thing considered. incineram noct: incineram + maraith. only + 5 in atk in exange for losing the fire type. note: not worth the effort but at list you can get one easily now for free exp. -----------------------------------------------------------------------bushi: cinnamoth + chillet / croajiro or capture the boss. hp: 80 atk: 125 def: 80 note: exchangeable with incineram. if you prefer a glass-canon. use bushi out of the two. all so this guy has lumbering 3. good lumberjack to get. and like incineram it's a very reliable pal all thing considered. bushi noct: bushi + sootseer... for a +5 in atk + the added dark type, don't bother. sootseer WAY better to get. don't get me wrong this pal IS good. but i know that you guys know that sootseer is rare has hell to find. -----------------------------------------------------------------------speaking of which. sootseer: univolt + Nitewing hp: 105 atk: 125 def: 90 note: maybe the best fire/dark type in the game but it's ugly (at list in my opinion) with a near useless ability (that's a fact). -----------------------------------------------------------------------elphidran: Vanwyrm + Nitewing hp: 110 atk: 80 def: 90 note: just a solid pal to get. but aqua better elphidarn aqua elphidarn + surfent note: i have too much to say here. it's getting it own paragraph -----------------------------------------------------------------------quivern: relaxaurus + nitewing hp: 105 atk & def: 100 note: SOLID PAL. kills dark type pals as hard as it is fluffy and the passive "invader" is a great investment for this pal. there is a botan version but honestly don't bother breeding quivern with a lullu for one. the effort not worth it. -----------------------------------------------------------------------Warsect: grizzbolt + cinnamoth hp: 120 atk: 100 def: 120 note: a solid tank all thing considered warsect terra: warsect + Digtoise +5 in atk and lose the grass type. a solid trade + the gold shell for extra style points. -----------------------------------------------------------------------Trarantriss: daedream + Nitewing hp: 110 atk: 100 def: 100 solid pal to get early, its cute and grappling hooks are fun -----------------------------------------------------------------------Blazamut: suzaku + bellanoir just a solid pal to have. particularly do to it's size even if it is hard to get. -----------------------------------------------------------------------Bastigor: frostallion + anubis 10 damage less then frostallion but get strong moves, mining and lumbering 3. honestly it up to you if you like this pal as a warrior or a base only pal. -----------------------------------------------------------------------Nyafia melpaca + sweepa hp: 110 atk: 100 def: 100 same stats as trarantriss. that funny. anyway SOLID PAL TO GET EARLY. transporting, gathering and lumbering at lv2 and handiwork at lv3. and it nocturnal. [WARNING]do not and i do meen DO NOT BOTHER with the ability. there is so much jank in-it its near worthless unless its on BIG target. its sad to, since the damage is good. Elphidran is all ready a good dragon type to use for the early and mid game. THIS on the other hand crank it to 11 in pure utility. This pal is a "Jake of all traits, master of none" if i may say so myself. You can fly on it, surf shockingly fast on it, use it for watering or chopping wood will your afk in your base or in combat being surprisingly tanky for what it stats says. If i can compare it to another pal of the same level in term of stats i would be Azurode.

Suzaku + cinnamoth. which is really funny since suzaku is a pal that REALLY easy to slap legend on. might be the easiest one actually. anyway let-go on the revue: Knocklem is a monster of a ground pal. hes partner ability is Steel guardian mode. which boast both hes attack and defence temperately when activated BY 200% AT 4 STAR. sound crack on the surface all ready. but wait, there more and it get so much worst. HP:105 ATK:110 DEF:135 with a total of 350. same as anubis. So yeah this guy might as well have all infinity stone against electric pals. they're only one build to have on this guy. legend, demon god, diamond body and Musclehead. Get a suzaku with one of the 3 passive needed and breed it with any legendary pal to get a suzaku with legend+1 then get the rest of the passive needed with cinnamoths. Frostallion noct. partner skill: Black steed apply dark type damage to your guns with a bonus of 100% more dark damage will mounted HP: 140 2nd best hp in the game only bested by the Mammorests 150 ATK:140 3rd best atk in the game only bested by Necromus and Neptilius 145 and the bellanoirs 150 DEF: 135 3rd best def in the game only bested by Shadowbeak 140 and paladius 145 for a total base state of 415. only bested by your mother in bed. Maraith Maraith is a pal as i say'd that i really love. and it's a pal ready to be your best friend if you can find it early. how early? as soon as your level 19 to breed one up and lv23 to mount it. your option's to get one are teafant + chillet, rushhoar + rooby, lifmunk + Celaray, direhowl + daedream or gumoss, lamball + dinossom I CAN STILL GO ON!!! tldr you can breed one really easily. which is great since there 26+ normal type pals in the game and there everywhere. including a few notable bosses. despite the hp of 75 and the def of 80 it make it up for it with 105 atk, its speed, a unique floaty jump and obviously give dark damage for your guns. for early game i recommend burly body, swift and two filer passive of your choice. like vanguard + stronghold strategist or more damage. for a fun later game build. slap legend, swift and diamond body then a filer passive of your choice. the mobility + a gun is just a BLAST to use. I don't recommend attacks, since i'm sure you have some common sense for those. but this pal in particular work really well with spam-able moves. something to pepper the enemies while reloading like dragon cannon and such. you can get away with stronger moves but the faster the animation is the better do to maraith survivability.
