Include everything you need to know, curated with all of my experience and obscure tips and tricks. Now with an entire walkthrough for Spirit of Amazonia up to the ending Whats New? It sounds like I'm supposed to write changelog here, but instead I'll just use it to explain the new contents and tips for the recent update. Spirit of Amazonia Part 3 aaaand Animal Husbandry. Oh man I have been missing out on a lot New things from the update Blowdart Animal Enclosures Animal Taming Ability to Pet Creepy Jar adopted a Capybara Survival 101: How to not Die & other useful Tips Early Survival Tips Make an axe as soon as you start the game (1 rock + 1 wood stick) Easy Firestarter recipe: 2 stick + 2 rope Build a shelter as soon as you found a clearing, it is the only way to save your game Don't drink dirty water unless you have spare cuppy/soursoup to counteract the parasite. It's not lethal but it can get annoying when you're running around looking for cure. Leave out coconut halves in the open so when it rain, it will collect the rainwater (the rainwater is safe and drinkable) Use the compass and write down the coordinate of your base so that you can find your way back to your base. General Tips You can harvest a large rock for smaller rocks by right clicking it for more option Large item that can't be put into inventory can be put for crafting either by dragging from the ground it or right clicking it for more options The magnifying glass on your status bar shows that there are unresolved diseases and wound on your body, it is very useful on telling you that there are leeches in your body If something leads to your death, don't do it again Manage your sanity, keep it above by eating cooked meat, resting in shelter, and standing near a campfire Cut off plants (not banana or palm) and leave the leaves to dry off into usable tinder Don't throw away rotten food, there might be edible grubs that you can find by harvesting rotten food You're not a cow, don't eat leaves If it looks poisonous, it probably is (Congrats on having functional Instinct) Watch out for your sanity, Its don't starve tier and can actually spawn monster that will kill you Don't poke the wasp nest, instead throw rock or axe from a distance to collect those delicious honey. Someone pointed out that you can put up a torch to scare get them to buzz off (which actually works on ants too) If you get attacked by a jaguar, don't run (you'll just be out of stamina by the time it catches up) Instead challenge it by beating em with spear Green frog = good, Blue frog = bad. Seriously, not ♥♥♥♥*ng worth it, avoid these guys if pos You get ash and charcoal from burnt out campfire. Ash can be used to make a high quality bandage, while charcoal can be eaten to filter out food poisoning or be made into a water filter. Medium shelters can only save and demands you to build a bed afterward, but the smaller shelter are not only easier to craft, it provides a little bit of both. The shelter quality are related to chances of getting a disease when you sleep. Roasted Meat restore sanity and energy when eaten, you can eat as many and hunt as many to fill up your sanity meter Cheapest way to raise your sanity up is to hunt/fish as many animal as you can (rattlesnake don't count) and roast their meat then eat them as each roasted meat adds 5 or more sanity and you need to have over 50 sanity to be considered sane If you are in a cave and hears a crackling sound, watch your step as there may be a scorpion lurking Carbs will later become the hardest resource to manage as it will force you to move from camp to camp in order to find more of this nutrient As you do things such as chopping wood or throwing spear, your skill increases and its progress can be seen in the notebook. Your skill will decides how fast, strong, accurate, or durable your equipment will become There is weights now, watch out for when carrying meat from large critters, because each piece weights around 4Kg. Thankfully your main character must be a veteran marine because he can carry 50Kg of weight everywhere he goes Armor specifically reduce chances getting bled when attacked and reduce some percentage of damage directly. Better armor will eventually becomes superior when your crafting skill is high, try to use simple ones first like a stick/bone armor, then work up to armadillo/iron Spear are powerful and can be thrown quicker than a bow. But bow have more ammo that you can bring with you. Iron tool exist. You can start by looking for iron ore in most caves and smash that mf veins till it drops some iron ores. One thing to know is that quality tool only scales up the durability (not efficiency) you should only start using steel You can get dirty, right click on river to open option to wash yourself. If you eat while dirty, you might get ill. Also clean yourself again after removing the dirt cause you actually have an additional hidden dirtiness value which are basically an extra layer of protection against dirt Charcoal Oven will let you make lots of charcoal (for the forge), you just have to fill in as many wood sticks into the kiln as you could and then start it up. If you need ash for mudworks or bandages, try harvesting charcoal for ashes. You get much more charcoal per campfire.GalleryGreen Hell's Safe Valley with its coordinate. Tribals doesn't normally spawn here, unless you left your base without extinguishing your fire.

Anthropologist Guide to the Indigenous people of Amazon General Tactics Follow these easy* steps and you will win any fight 1. Hit (with spear or axe) 2. Immediately put up your block with "R" 3. Repeat the steps *it's not as easy as it sounds and you will probably fumble on your first tries Combat Tips! BLOCK! You won't win any combat if you don't know blocking (less you play as stealth archer) Tribals no longer invade your house unless you left a campfire lit while going away or sleeping. Note that the fire based spawn only happen if you leave your camp while a fire is lit. The tribal will not spawn this way if you attend to your camp. You can't never befriend any of the tribals (you're not playing the Forest) yet so feel free to go Columbus on them If a tribal sees you and runs away, you better chase after him or he will return to your base in group Use spear to fight off tribal, other weapon will risk you getting in their knife range Take distance between melee tribal, their knife is short but you're more likely to die from bleeding because bandages are rare and banana leaf bandage from the trailer isn't implemented yet Avoid sprinting toward them because it can waste your stamina too early, use your stamina to dodge, block, or attack them Don't charge at tribal if they are also charging, charge is effective on archers since they cant fight back at melee and when they swap their weapon, use this opportunity to shank them DONT FU*KING EAT HUMAN MEAT OR EVEN STEW IT. IT WILL INSTANTLY PUT DOWN YOUR SANITY (the bone is alright tho) You can safelty kill tribals from distance without even provoking them using bow and arrows which are easy to craft, but you cannot do it with low stamina since drawing bow without skill will take at least half of your stamina. Headshots can kill them in one hit even at low skill Obsidian Spear has the highest damage and can kill tribals in four or less hit. When thrown, it is more than enough to bleed them out in seconds Blocking while backing off is the best defense from melee attack If you are good at first person archery, then try to snipe them for a headshot from afar when they are unaware. Tribal archer has significantly less health than melee warrior, they would give support to melee attackers but can accidentally hit and kill their friend if you angle your position just right Tribals will attack your base if they can't reach you so try to use this to your advantage Combat are much more focused on where you hit em. I managed to took down a tribal archer in one hit by shooting my arrow in their head A tribal may spawn with a spear, their weakness is strafing to the side just like archers and as always, try to anticipate their attack and time your block properly. Tribals sometimes imitates bird sounds, which should be very noticable by you. Possibly to alert their mates Crafting Notebook Includes current recipes and hidden ones. Go to any nearest cave and look for an iron deposit (it will be light brown-ish). Some iron deposit are depleted but some are not. The mineable iron will have a filled cracks, mine that with an axe. To build a forge, you will need a mud brick, mudbrick which are made in the mud mixer. Once you built a mud mixer, put some mud collected at the river, put a campfire ash, and then fill it with water till it full. Work on the mixer to make the bricks. You'll now have 6 mud brick (you make 6 each batch). You can now craft the mud forge. After you are done building the forge, put the iron ore on the lower slot, and several charcoals in the upper slot. Turn the forge on like you would with a campfire. Yep thats it, you can pick up the melted ore and create tools by using molds (mud brick harvest) Amazonian Cookbook Stewin' vs Roastin': Roasting food takes time (especially on high quality meats), stewing are done very quickly, the downside is that you can't bring your stew for travel Dryin' vs Smokin': Smoking are done faster than drying but smoking requires a lit campfire, the smoker will also prevent the campfire from being extinguished by rain. Dried/Smoked food last 3 times longer. Some plants can also be dried for surpising result The Ultimate Bone Soup (and making soup in general) Create a Small Campfire Drag or put coconut halves (aka. coconut bowl) on one of its two slot Make sure it's filled with water Drag a piece of bone into the bowl Turn on the campfire Wait until it is boiled, then feel free to consume itBoiled Water 1 Coconut canteen full of water Put 2 coconut bown on each side of the campfire for maximum effectiveness Pour the water to each of the bowl Boil for a few minutes Use a second coconut canteen if you want to collect the waterAntivenom Infusion 1 Bowl of water 1 Purple flowered/heart leaved herb or Tobacco leaves Boil for a few minutesFever Infusion 1 Bowl of water 1 Amara Flower (big bush with red flower) Boil for a few minutes Definitely take a rest if fever still presistAntiparasitic Infusion 1 Bowl of water 1 Cup shaped mushroom or Soursoup fruit Boil for a few minutes Kill more parasite than if eating the shroom rawMeat Stew 1 Piece of any fresh meat 1 Bowl of water Boil the meat like usual More nutritious and cooks very quick, use this to mask the sanity reducing effect of eating insects Green Hellbarium: Good & Bad Plants Guide about plants on this game, i included its common name for my own amusement. The name i put may be innacurate but the description should fit the game Foodstuffs Red Cup Shaped Shroom: Cure Parasite and satiates a little amount of carbs, known as scarlet cup Brown oyster mushroom that glows green at night: Small carbs but is safe, is listed as two different mushroom in the notebook despite of being the same mushroom, commonly known as ghost mushroom Blue tree shroom: Lots of fatigue boost, The mushroom is called Indigo Blue Leptonia and it provides the highest amount of energy of all plants. Umbrella shaped shroom: similar shape as above's above, this mushroom is called liberty cap and they are what we commonly refer to as magic shroom due to its psychedelic effect Ball-headed white-skirted mushroom aka. Stinkhorn: Edible if stewed or dried first, cause food poisoning (I learnt it the hard way). Sometime spit out gas (actually its spore) when harvested. Yellow tomato-looking Fruit: Good for carbs and hydration. Is called cocona if i am not mistaken, might actually just a wild tomato Cassava (Big brownish whiteish bulb): High carbs, basically an oversized potato, cook/boil it first because it will give food poisoning if eaten raw Heart of Palm (From cutting medium palms that has reddish spot on its upper base): High carbs Palm tree nuts: Alternative source of Fats, always spawn in pair. Banana: Good carbs, can be collected in pods of two to five Brazilian Nut: Drops from the same tree that has blue shrom, Uber rare item but you can craft fishing rod with its shell. In appearance it looks pale and small. Green spiky fruit: Okay carbs, also cure parasites. It's a soursoup you all may recognize (Guanbana fruit in-game) and is actually pretty commonly cultivated fruit. That green cassava looking scaly bulb you get from a hole leafed fern: Doesn't give food poisoning anymore, Infact it gives good amount of protein and energy when eaten raw. based on info in the wikipedia, you're supposed to dry it out until its scale falls off but you can't dry it in-game so disregard that. The same flower from the same fern that is the above bulb in its blossom form: Also gives you food poisoning regardless. This fern is named as the "monster" plant but more commonly named as swiss cheese plant due to it's holed leaf. Jungle Potato: This plant has been in-game since alpha, yet I only noticed it recently when looking around the above plant. This plant has a small yellow leaves and appears similarly to cocona. When being destroyed, there is a small chance that you get a potato bulb from it. Cave mushroom thing: This mushroom dehydrates you a lot but can cure fever which makes it the only food that can instantly cure fever without needing to be cooked. Added recently in the Spirit of Amazonia Patch. This mushroom is named Marasmius Tageticolor.Medicinal Banana Leaves: You can also make bandage out of it (But you actually can't yet, but I just want to remind you that the developer intended for you to be able to make banana leaf dressing but still haven't got to it) Molineria leaves: Can be made into bandage, know by its yellow flower, is easier to find by looking for its distinctively shaped leaves Tobacco Leaf: Cure venom if made into bandage or stewed Quassia Amara flower: (looks like cassava plant but has spear shaped flower): used for fever reducing stew. A famous decodition against malaria (once it gets into the game) Heart leafed purple flowered herb: Cure venom like tobacco plant but can only be eaten or stewed. Its common name is Plantain Lily or specifically for this peculiar herb: wide brimmed hosta Water Lily Flower: Found on small blue ponds, cure food poisoning Herb with Purple flower and purple leaves: The leaves treats food poisoning but the flower gives food poisoning. Possibly a purple sage or something else within the salvia flora groupGalleryHeart of Palm & Swiss Cheese Plant (with pods)

Alternative Curatives Unlisted method of curing diseases, but generally list all of the methods to cure it Bleeding WoundDrains health slowly, and will become infected if not bandaged soon enough Leaf Bandage of any sort would close it, other upgraded bandage will do too Banana DressingLaceration WoundDrains health really fast, Will become infected after a short time Leaf Bandage/Banana Dressing (small chance of leaving infection instead) Ash Dressing Honey Dressing Jungle Ants: Placed on the woundInfected WoundWill reduce sanity, and cause fever if left too long. Much more dangerous than snake venom, but uses the same method to heal. On top of bandaging, I recommend drinking the antidote stews in order to fully recover from the poison. WormsConstantly drains sanity until removed, will leave a bandageable wound that can get infected after removing the worm. Gained when sleeping on the ground, or non-elevated leaf bed. Needles (Bone Needle) (There are fish bone and stingray tail but I haven't tested it) Sleep in elevated log/bamboo bed or hammocks to avoid thisFeverWill drain your fatigue rapidly, and makes every action harder to do as long as you have fever. I will only list and explain all of the animal encountered within the game alongside with startegy on how you can find them. MammalsMammals are your best source of nutrient and can easily found anywhere within the game, importantly, their meat provides fats alongside with high protein. Remember that damage depends on which bodypart so shot to the head does more damage than the flank Jaguar: Medium quality meat; Dangerous, but can be one hit with a spear headshot from a distance Puma: Medium quality meat; Also Dangerous, but can also be one hit with a spear headshot. Their sound are rather different, sounding much more gory Capybara: Highest quality meat; Best hunt by spear Peccary: High quality meat; Best hunt by spear Tapir: High quality meat; Best hunt by spear Armadillo: High quality meat; can be killed by spear Three Banded Armadillo: Medium quality meat; You can just chase without needing to attack them them and they will prostate themself for you to butcher Mouse: Low quality meat; Often caught in small trap or manually if you have the timeFishFish are very easy to hunt and fish traps often provided catches, but they do not provide fats when cooked Aronawa: Medium quality meat: found on most freshwater lakes, can be speared Stingray: Medium quality meat: found only on the oasis and safe valley, can be speared Angelfish: Low quality meat: found everywhere, cannot be caught with spear Discus: Low quality meat: found everywhere, cannot be caught with spear Piranha: Low quality meat: found everywhere but safe valley pond, can be speared Peacock Bass: Low quality meat: found everywhere, can be spearedInsectsInsect provides little nutrition and gives penalty to sanity, However, you can use their burnt meat to make ash bandages Goliath Birdeater Tarantula: low quality meat: Found on the jungle usually nearby giant trees, listen for crackling sound to know if it is near Brazillian Wandering Spider: Very low quality meat, venomous so watch out for crackling sound Scorpion: Low quality meat, Found inside caverns, and will make scraping sound similar to the tarantula Wasps: Nest can be broken with stone or axes for honey, will give rash if you get too near unless you approach it with a lit torch Rainforest Ants: You can try to carefully approach it with torch to collect the ants, but getting too near will give you rashes. The ants itself cannot be eaten in any way and only used to close laceration wounds Maggots: found on dead carcass and harvested from rotten meat, used to treat infections or as a fishing bait Larva: found on dead tree stumps or rotten vegetatives, can be stewed, but mostly used as fishing bait Worms: will inject itself to your body if you sleep in low quality bed, but can inject into you regardless on hard difficulty. You will need to use sharp needles to remove it and bandage the wound. Is mention by dev to actually be a botfly larva rather than actual worm. Leech: will occasionally latch onto your body and you will have to remove it, annoying but not really that dangerousReptiles Black Caiman: Strongest most dangerous animal so far, This giant crocodile can smack a huge chunk of your health in a lunge. Thankfully they "growls" very loudly and walks slowly, best way to avoid them is to walk away from water. They are also very resillient as a spear throw won't kill them immediately, so bring a bow with you Green Iguana: Medium quality meat: Can be caught on small traps, but you can run after it as it doesn't move that much fast Caiman Lizard: Medium quality meat: Spawns sometimes in place for iguana. has blue-green-red colouring on its spine Rattlesnake: Low quality meat, found on stationary position and will not move around other than rotating, throw your spear from close quarter, two rock throws seems to be enough too Red Footed Tortoise: Medium Quality meat, can be butchered after attacking it once. Has turtle shell which is a good quality bowl (25 capacity) Prawns: low quality meat, caught in large number from prawn trapsOther Macaw: Medium quality meat: Mostly found dead lying on the ground but can be easily shot using bow and arrow when they're landing Toucan: Medium quality meat: Same as macaw Cane Toad: Low quality meat, found hopping around near rivers, can also be caught in small traps Poison Dart Frog: Same meat as cane toad, will envenom you in any way it could (and I can guarantee that it will kill you or waste your time) Generally avoid them whenever you can. You may be able to make actual poison dart if you manage to catch one alive Mystery Snail: Not very filling, but restores sanity if cooked. Found on rocks nearby freshwater ponds Red Crab: Medium Quality Meat, restores good amount of sanity River Angler Weekly Fishing Instrument Any Spear (for spear fishing) Fishing Traps (for lazy people) Fishing Rod (for relaxing sessions) because fishing also restores sanity like campfire doFishing GuideThis guide is for fishing using the fishing rod, not the spear. To attach the hook and bait, first wield your fishing rod, open your inventory, grab the hook and put it on the slot at your fishing rod which you held, the method is the same for baits Hook Bone Hook: Crafted from bone needle Fish Bone Hook: Crafted from fish bonesBaiting Mushroom Larvae Maggots Farmer's Pocket Guide Planters & What can you plant in itLarge Planter Palm Tree Nuts: Dropped randomly by palm trees Bamboo Stick: Chop off a smaller bamboo plant Banana Seeds: Harvested from Banana fruit Soursoup Seeds: Harvested from a Soursoup fruit Cassava Root: Harvested from a Cassava Quasi Amara Flower (Dried): Dry a Quasi Amara flower Monstera Flower (Dried): Dry a Monstera flowerSmall Planter Cocona Seeds: Harvested from Cocona fruit Root Bulb: Harvested from a Malanga (potato) Molinera Flower (Dried): Harvested from Molinera Leaves & Wait for it to dry Tobacco Flower (Dried): Dry a Tobacco flower Plantain Lilly (Dried): Dry a Plantain Lilly flower Sage Flower (Dried): Dry a Sage flower*Note that drying can be done faster if you use a drying rack Taking care of your Plants Water it until the hydration bar is full or hope for a rain to do your job for you. Fertilizer can be found as animal droppings (poop). Poop can be found through the distinct fly sound Alternatively, rotten biomatter such as fruits and mushroom can be used as a low quality fertilizer Fertilizing is optional but can make the plant grow faster. It is more efficient to use poop for plants that regrows itself such as Banana, Cocona, and Soursoup Plowing will not make your crop plot arable, it will destroy the plant. Single harvest plant will require plowing to make the planter reusable How to Make Friends This guide will explain in detail on how you can acquire a pet. The animal you can keep as a pet are the Capybara, Peccary, and Tapir. First you'll have to build an enclosure Next, prepare a bamboo blowdart, some poison darts, and a rope Shoot a dart once at the animal and follow it until it passes out. Make sure you don't chase it into water since it can die from drowning Pick up the animal and carry them back to the enclosure. That's it, you just got a pet. You can also name them if you want. Caring for your pet The following are the main aspect of having pets, which is keeping them alive. Make sure that you have a pair of water through and feeding through for every pet you intend to keep in each enclosure. You'll also need to clean up the enclosure everyday by picking up the animal poop, else they get sick from the miasma. When you have a couple of male and female, they'll eventually get pregnant and create baby animal >_<. Most importantly, make sure to look after them every day and don't leave your base for longer than a couple of days. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) This is where I include questions and problems that are often asked or complained in the review and discussion forum to help people solve the most notorious problem in the game. Q: How do I manage sanity? why are hallucinated tribal keeps attacking me? A: You should keep your sanity up by at least 80% to make sure that you wont even start hearing voices. At lower than 50% sanity, those tribal hallucination will start spawning and acutally deals damage to you. Things to do: Eating cooked meat, choke yourself full of it until your sanity is above 50% Especially raw honey & cooked crab Staying near fire Sleeping in a good quality bed Taking off leeches FishingThings you should not do if you want to keep your sanity up: Eating insects Leaving diseases untreated, especially worms & leech Sleeping without shelter Commiting Cannibalism (ABSOLUTE NO! NO!) Q: How do I fish? A: With Spear: Normally when in creek. Anywhere else, You throw. The type of spear doensn't really matter A2: For fishing rod. You will need to find a brazil nut which are a very very very rare item found near a large three where you would sometime find blue mushroom. The nut's shell are one of the key component to make a fishing rod. There is also a free fishing rod at the oasis snake camp found by the tree next to the shelter and campfire. Q: Why do I keep getting attacked by tribals? how do I get rid of them? A: The tribals in green hell no longer spawn in to attack you periodically, now they mind their own business such as singing, foraging, patrolling, and resting. Should you approach them or be seen by them, then they will attack you. You can easily avoid them by hearing their singing. A2: Also setting up fire and forge will attract tribals to raid your camp, so be considerate about it. Q: Why no rain? or Why too much rain? A: After the first 20 days, the game would start to either go full on dry, or go full on wet, then switches between the two for the whole week or longer. Don't be scared, this isn't a bug at all. > When raining often, your water should be manageable and your only challenge is lightning a fire in order to cook and to build covered shelter so you can sleep. Also you cannot dry food during rainy season so keep a note on that > When dry, you would have to prepare a bidon of any type and coconut shells to boil water and to make soups while you're at it Q: What's the cheesiest way to beat the deal with the tribals? A: Stealth Archery: 1 headshot kills the tribal, you can get like 2-3 before they start chasing after you Stealth Spearing: 1 headshot kills the tribal incase you ran out of arrow Jump on a log bridge or a huge boulder: Tribals can't get up there but will switch the ranged if they have a weaponQ: What's the Dealies with weapon durabilit A: Two things: 1. Weapon durability is purely tied to your crafting skill. 2. Weapon material quality sets the maximum possible durability. Making it viable to only craft bad weapon at early skill then upgrade to a better tier once your durability of the previous weapon tier is at 100% Q: Can I copy/paste your guide on my repost/gamer website/forum/news article/translation/etc. A: *bleep* yeah, you may do as you wish BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT please credit me or link this guide to that post Story Mode Walkthrough This will be the walkthrough. See map below if you are lost and In need of direction, I think the map should be useful since most of the time you'll only find it halfway trough each of the zones At the start of the game, just do what you usually do. Make some tools and stuff. Go up the river for a bit and you'll see a village Find a bowl and cook up the recipe shown in your notebook The bark can be found literally few meters behind the bowl, in a large tree where you usually find blue shroom You'll find the red-green herb (psychotria). Now worries, this herb appears literally everywhere except for when you're actually looking for it Cook up those ingredients at the bowl and drink it Go to the coordinate (A-2) Realize you cant reach it, find the grappling hook Find the crashed jeep and pick up the jerrycan Find the elevator cave, fuel the generator, go down Optionally pick up a bag of gold Pick up the grappling hook there Go back to the marked map area (A-2) Find a "stonehenge", make another brew and drink it Go trough the very familiar snake camp Go east till you find a climbing spot (coordinate is: 32'W;25'S) Look for a clearing Fix the radio by following the yellow cable Pick up the key near the radio after using the radio Follow the blue cable and pick up the climbing gear Follow the coordinate (C-1) south-east from the airstrip and slide down Pick up the diving gear and go trough the underwater cave When you're finally up, look down to the south-east again and then go to a small sinkhole and climb down there Not much diving this time, just go trough the cave till you reach a swamp (optional) Follow the coordinate marked as Omega (this part is optional but essential for the good ending) (optional) Camp Omega does not appear on the map initially but you'll soon find it if you just go straight south from where you exit (optional) Find a mossy tent, interact with the zipper to enter it (optional) Pick up the infected blood sample and put it into the machine (optional) Go find 2 tobacco and 2 bandage, prepare 2 tobacco bandages (optional) Pick up a poison dart frog (with your hand). You will be instantly poisoned once you pick it up so immediately bandage your arm with that tobacco bandages (twice) (optional) Sleep in the adjacent tent that has beds to pass off the fever (optional) Go back to the Zippered tent, put the live frog into the sample, and pick up THE CURE Follow the coordinate marked as A-1 Make the third brew, drink em', walking-sim em', don't forget to pick up the grappling gun once you're done. Try to reach Coordinate H and enjoy the surprise. Continue going south till you find a trunk bridge that somehow got there all of the sudden Keep going till you reached coordinate Psi Make the brew the fourth time WIN.......................................... Cave Shroom Sidequest Get to the point where you reached the biggest village with the 4th ritual bowl Dont use the bowl yet, instead go to coordinate 34'W;34'S and grapple up to a cave Walk trough the cave till you reach 32'W;32S and pick up the cave mushroom ASK ME WHAT'S THE POINT! ASK ME WHAT'S IT FOR! ASK ME WHY IT'S THERE! Psychotria related

Spirit of Amazonia Part 1: Mu'agi General Info This campaign is standalone to the story mission There are very little handholding and the storyline is much more open than the main story's linear flow If you exit from the starting area to the south, go check the river bank until you find your boat. There are some useful stuff there Doing certain good willed action gives you Trust Point (idk what that do but i think collecting lots of those lets you progress) You'll need about 800 to progress through the first section The Waraha (skull painted native) are as*holes. Feel free to commit British colonialism on them, there won't be any reperecussion for that. The Mu'agi village will be your main hub for most of the time (there are fire and drying rack you can use for cooking and some food you can steal). Don't worry about being awkward, the chief understand that you're a white guy trying hard to fit in. The Map is located on a steamboat at the southeaster corner of the area, through the mangrove trees. Climb on top of the steamboat. The map should be in a small crate Most of the painted rocks are located on map edges and caves. Though some can be found in center of a notable landmark. After gaining the trust, you'll have to prepare a brew for a spiritual journey. There should be a pot within the village which you can heat up and drink. Trust ActionsHelp an Injured Native (30 Trust) When you find an Injured native, use your bandage on their wound by dragging it from your inventory. Different wound type may require different types of bandage. Perform Burial Ceremony (20 Trust) Take Down a native corpse that can be found hanging on a tree Gather and Build the coffin Start a fire and use the ember to set the coffin on fire Return Tribal Kid (30 Trust) Grab a tribe kid found randomly in a jungle and 'build" them near the chief's tent Free Tribal Women (30 Trust) You can find them from the sound of crying. They are found inside a breakable bamboo cage usually found near large waraha camps Destroy Waraha Camps (5-40 Trust) Killing them is optional, you only have to deconstruct their huts and totems using your axe. The bigger ones gives more trust and is unguarded SPOILER WARNING (Hover the pointer over the black bars to see each solution to the legends) Learn Legends from Painted Stone (100 Trust each) Consist of 2 part: 1. Find all related legend stones; 2. Complete the newly given sidequest. Locating the stones. The quests should become easier to track if you have the map White Demon (Note: This quest isn't referring to you) This consist of a hunt so prepare bow and a decent amount of arrow. You will need to go to the marked place during the evening. The monster will be waiting on a cave near the steamboat. After skinning it, proceed to bragging about killing the endangered animal to the chief The Howling Spirit The object mentioned is lodged on a tree. Reaching it require crossing the bamboo bridge just west of the marker and jump through rocks until you reach the tall edge by the marked tree. A rope and a small stick will be required. Finish the quest by exaggerating your conquest to the chief The Craftsman Craft the following items: Metal Scales: Mold + Melted Metal + Arowana Scales Metal Fang: Mold + Melted Metal + Jaguar Fang (you can get one at the village if you can't find a jaguar) Metal Feather: Mold + Melted Metal + Bird Feather Totem Recipe: Metal Scales + Metal Fang + Metal Feather + Wooden Stick + Wood Resin (resin can be found on a petrified wood) Gift the newly made totem to the chief to complete this quest Cursed Water First, get the golden treasure at the steamboat. Acessing this one requires diving from the blasted behind of the steamboat. Once you have the plate, remember to bring enough wood to make a small fire. Dive into the marked waterfall area and jump through the cavern rocks until you reach an altar. Place the golden plate, build the fire, and complete the ritual. Spirit of Amazonia Part 2: Un'garaca General Info This part can begins right after you're done with helping the first chief, although this game mode isn't linear and you can do any of the 3 tribes in any order you want. There are 2 different way to find the next location which is in the north-most cavern, or north-west cavern You will be placed in a slightly modified location you would be very familiar of already The Map is located at the Drug Den right inside a jeep parked in front of it. There is also the metal bidon and the part required to fix your boat radio Some water source are poisoned (green stuff) and accidentally stepping on one can add a fever instantly Trust ActionsHint: The Village you had to help is located very close to the starting area of the main campaign. A lot of trust action such as rescues and destroying Waraha camps are also available for this area. Clean Poisoned Water (25 Trust) Pick up all the bottles and jugs first. Build a bonfire at the gathering location then lit it on fire. This action should also make surrounding water safe for wading again within a couple of days Legends (100 Trust Each) Blood Tears This is probably the easiest Legend you can do. All you got to do is go to the location marked on the map. Dive down the broken pier into a sunken down boat and pick up the treasure Gifts of the Jungle You'll need to build a drum, some of the ingredients are staightforward, except for the baby tapir skin. You'll need to hunt it during the NIGHT (baby tapir will have a striped skin). It is guranteed to spawn just near the Un'garaca village, just by the tiny pond that would usually have rocks painted with legends The Dance of Death This will take some time, you'll need to bring a Tortoise meat every day to the stone altar for 3 days straight. Then the enemy will spawn during the night on the same cave at the fourth day or more. Tortoises should be easily found at the small pond down from the cave or along the shores of the Amazon river Spirit of Amazonia Part 3: Habbacu General Info Normally, you'd need to win the trust from the Un'garaca for the child holding down the rope to want to let you pass here. This is my recommended method Although, with some creativity and metagaming, you can simply parkour up one of the cave from the first map, or just swim around the western swamp from the sunken ferry boat. There will be an abandoned airfield on the way to the village containing lots of food, a save spot (calendar), and all of the remaining maps You should be confident enough to get through rest of everything else by yourself. Just remember to come stock up on tobacco bandage and ash/honey bandage from time to time Trust Actions Basic Stuff All of the common thing you did in for the previous tribe applies here too. Rebuild Totem (30 Trust) All over the place, near water are broken tribal totems. You'll need to repair it using several items that the game asks. One of the material you may occasionally need is a tapir skull which you can find from tapir (duh) or from destroying large waraha encampment Help Fisherman (30 Trust) Watch for them by a small bamboo platform. They'll either need a new bamboo fishing spear and 3 larvae (found by a stump or by harvesting rotting fruits) or a bamboo bow and 5 arrows. Legends (100 Trust) Spirit Eater This is a scavenger hunt where you'll be looking for 4 blue jewels within the vicinity of the fishing village and the waraha camp that were surrounded by water and destroy it by hand. This other guide by Kaiman should explain well where everything are if you're that lazyI am also that lazy, which is why I posted a link https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2786917238 Death Bringer You can start by exploring the cave marked by the map, littered with skeletons. Examine each of those skeleton including the one that are sunken underwater pond within the cave. Next step would be to build the weapon itself which requires: Plank + 2 Obsidian + Rope Guardians To start, you'll have to build a pottery table found in your notebook. Next, you'll have to obtain some mud and clay which you should already know how to get. Craft 3 Monkey statue and bake it at a campfire. Each monkey will require additional crafting with unique materials. 1: Monkey Statue + Obsidian 2: Monkey Statue + Plant Fiber (harvest a molinera or similar) 3: Monkey Statue + 2 Brazilian Tree Nutshell Go back to the village once you're finished and place each of the 3 monkeys in a unique location within the village Fish of Fortune This will take place on the swamp area. You'll first need to look for 3 separate material, A Swiss Cheese plant bulb + Honeycomb + Centipede. Looking for the centipede should be easier if you'd just pick up random large rock and hold it for at least 5 second, repeat until you found one that has a centipede. Next, you'll have to go back to one of the legend rock at the south-eastern edge of the swamp and look behind it for a bamboo fish trap, place the special fish bait you just made and sleep it off for a half a day and come back to pick up the huge fish Spirit of Amazonia Finale General Info Make sure that you do this after completing the ritual with all 3 tribes so you don't have to backtrack much Go back to the boat once more after speaking with the second spearman guarding the chief just by the snake pass and call in the radio. You can fix the boat now or after completing the final ritual. This area have boiling creeks and is also littered by hostile warahas so be careful. This shouldn't take as long as the previous 3 parts so good luck Moon Caves There are 3 caves with a huge painting of a moon at its sides. You'll need to bring in enough wood to start a small fire. As soon as you see a small statue inside the cave, build a fire inside of it and insert disk... I mean insert the Tokens of Trust you gained from each of the villages. Do this all 3 times and bring back the new golden trinket back to the spearman then complete the final ritual. Go Home After the long cutscene, you should take the green mushroom right in front of you and go all the way back to your boat. Congrats! You just completed Spirit of Amazonia Maps (Story Mode) In-case you forgot to pick some them up. Custom marker might be added soon. Map isn't perfectly filled but it has all of the important locations. * Also note that location of the map and most items are different between story mode and survival mode. It would take some time but I will soon add the survival location The JungleStory Location: Abandoned Camp, Inside a burnt backpack (46W;25S) Survival Location: Abandoned Drug Den
