Now my choice of magic DPS here are Lucemon SM and GraceNovamon. Lucemon SM is mainly used for Divine Atonement which has a high 90 AoE base power + 15% chance to insta kill (really helps during your adventure), plus being a light element which works with Aegiochusmon:Holy (NPC) lightning shower that debuffs light resistance. While GraceNovamon has a base 80 Calydon Arcus AoE, you can certainly use other magic DPS, and this strat will still works. Other skills are for coverage + spell boost (if needed) Personality: Astute (ignore SPI by 30% in Agent Rank 10 when attacking) Items: The Sky God’s Thunderbolt (stat abnormality immunity + 30% crit rate), if you don’t have it, you can use Multi Wall Hiroko’s hot perm rod (stat debuff immunity) / Stats Wall (stat debuff immunity) You can choose to use Blue Steel Data Fragment here to increase your damage by 1.5 instead of the stats wall, but it will double your MP cost making you have to stop to regen your MP every few fights. One word: Integer overflow Okay, that’s two words, but you get where I’m going with this. Because your HP is higher than 9999, the probability calculation of Combo Magic which is based on HP just broke, making your chances of triggering Combo Magic becomes 100% so long as your HP is above 9999, so with Great Embrace, you’re essentially doubling the damage of 2 DPS + providing survivability for everyone. Like in the clip above, spell boost in this case, boosted not one, but both instance of magic cast. Therefore, doubling your damage again. That is why I run spell boost on both Marineangemon and Aegiochusmon:Holy. COMBO MAGIC IS PATCHED, NO LONGER GIVES YOU 100% CHANCE WHEN RUN WITH GREAT EMBRACE The Game Plan The most perfect game plan for this build is to have 9999 speed for MarineAngemon, then have 9998 or a bit less speed for all your other DPS, this will allow MarineAngemon to always goes first, therefore able to put your great embrace in before you start attacking. This rotation will always be the same during the whole fight, making whatever damage the boss is dealing to you gets negated by MarineAngemon's heal next turn. To achieve this you need to level all your digimon to 99 before training their speed, otherwise when they level up, your speed will increase to 9999. But this is optional, you can do without it and it's almost the same. For X-Arts, the best choice is the buff all + negate one turn of damage from enemies. This will allow for a burst damage turn in the form of double spell boost + 50% buff to INT from the X-Arts Turn 1: X-Arts -> Ocean Love (Marine Angemon) -> damage from 2 magic dps, -> Aegiochusmon spell boost one dps, (All the boss damage is negated by the X-Arts keeping your health above 9999) Turn 2: spell boost your other dps with Marine Angemon -> double damage from both your magic dps By the way, combo magic also doubles your CP gain from your DPS, making it available in every 2 or 3 turns. It's very OP. How to farm for these digimons You need to have 9999 in all important stats for your digimon. Best done before starting the Mega + difficulty. For marineangemon you need SPI, SPD, HP, SP, DEF, you can ignore INT and ATK.
