This guide will tell you which staff members you need to hire and train to counter every negative event (and trigger as many positive events as possible!) for every POI on the Scorched Earth map in Two Point Museum. How This Scorched Earth Expedition Guide Works Staff members are broken down by type (Expert, Assistant, Janitor, Security Guard) and sorted in alphabetical order by hire date. (i.e. Amy Adams would be the first Expert you hire to train for expeditions, long before Jean Jones.) Fantasy Experts work differently from any of the previous classes of Experts. Fantasy Experts are broken into subclasses and have stats like characters from RPGs (role-playing games) — Barbarians, Rogues, Wizards, and Bards — whose primary stats are Strength (STR), Dexterity (DEX), Intelligence (INT), and Luck (LUCK). Stat requirements are combined for the party, so individual staff members do not need to have stats that high unless it is a solo expedition. The goal here is to hire as few expedition-specific staff members as possible so that the rest of your staff can focus on in-museum tasks. Not that they won’t also do stuff around the Pointy Mountains museum, where you’re probably curating the Fantasy exhibits, but you’re training them to be your away team. We want to counter all of the negative events we can and enable all the positive events, as well. We especially need to avoid any MIA events that result in the permanent loss of a staff member. If a staff member appears in bold text, that staff member is toggling an event on or off and should be considered required. If they do not appear in bold, they’re just coming along for the ride and can be replaced with a different staff member if you wish, like someone trained in Pilot Wings to make the expedition go faster. If something is listed in italics, it’s a conditional or optional “requirement.” Expeditions are listed in the order I was able to send them out, not the order in which the POIs became unlocked, because I had to make sure my staff members were trained properly.
