Campaigns released in 20252025 saw exciting growth in DCS single-player experiences, driven by many new high-quality, creator-developed campaigns. From historical to modern battlefield scenarios, and across a broad range of modules and maps, these additions expand gameplay variety and substantially boost the modules they were built for. Below is a complete overview of the campaigns introduced during 2025. DCS: F/A-18C The Rampagers Campaign By Baltic Dragon In this campaign, you’ll fly the DCS: F/A-18C as a member of VFA-83 “Rampagers” over the DCS: Syria Map. The campaign features realistic carrier operations from the DCS: Supercarrier with detailed briefings and challenging tactical missions. The emphasis is on accurate procedures and immersion for a full and modern naval aviation experience. The Rampagers campaign received several updates in 2025. Carrier wind-over-deck settings, departure and recovery scoring, and mission timings were also refined for accuracy. Documentation and dialogue are now more detailed. Failsafes to mission logic, corrected AI behavior, enhanced scoring, and safeguards against rare crashes and audio issues were all made. These improvements align with DCS updates to ensure the campaign remains immersive and fun. DCS: Mosquito FBMkVI Freeman's Folly Campaign By Sunts Simulations Set during World War II, Freeman’s Folly highlights the DCS: Mosquito FB VI's incredible and unique capabilities. The campaign focuses on low-level night operations and WWII-authentic mission design that showcases the versatility and challenges of the ‘Wooden Wonder’ strike missions over occupied Europe on the DCS: The Channel Map. Updates to Freeman’s Folly focused on refinement and reliability. These addressed documentation and dialogue errors, and resolved mission-breaking issues such as inoperable pilot controls, missing post-attack cues, and stray debug messages. Adjustments to success criteria in select navigation and combat missions further improved mission flow and player feedback. These fixes reinforce the learning-oriented mission and ensure that narrative moments function smoothly. DCS: F-4E Red Flag 81-2 Campaign By Reflected Simulations The Red Flag 81-2 Campaign has you fly the DCS: F-4E Phantom II in a challenging training environment over the DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range Map with realistic threats and scenarios. Players must master Cold War tactics like formation discipline and mission planning in situations inspired by large-scale NATO exercises. Recent updates to Red Flag 81-2 emphasize realism, crew coordination, and continuity. Briefings and documentation are now streamlined across all missions. Enhancements to Jester AI improve waypoint selection and crew behavior. New safety triggers for AI takeoff spacing and pilot oversights help prevent mission failures without reducing difficulty. Airframe wear-and-tear persistence now links sorties, supporting the campaign’s training focus and providing a stronger sense of progression and accomplishment. DCS: F-4E – Northern Defenders ‘Phantoms Rising’ Campaign By Flying Cyking Phantoms Rising puts you into the DCS: F-4E Phantom II over the DCS: Kola Map, focusing on air defense and escalation scenarios typical of a late Cold War scenario. A blend of intercept missions, regional defense operations, and shifting threats creates a consistent, atmospheric experience. Improvements focused on stability, immersion, and Jester control. Updates addressed mission-specific issues, including documentation and dialogue, as well as the removal of stray debug elements. Other fixes included units that could interfere with airbase operations. Polishing improved briefing flow, ATIS (Automatic Terminal Information Service) clarity, and AI slot behaviour. Some missions received adjusted threat levels, and Jester’s comms were expanded to better highlight threats and recommended tactics. These changes strengthen the campaign’s immersion and stability. The added Jester dialogue improves situational awareness and supports the Phantom’s crew-centric gameplay and Cold War experience. DCS: P-47D Wolfpack II: Overlord Campaign By Reflected Simulations Building on the Wolfpack Campaign series, Overlord places you in the DCS: P-47D Thunderbolt over Occupied Europe on the DCS: Normandy 2.0 Map in 1944. Reflected combines intense ground attack missions, challenging air-to-air battles, and nail-biting escort missions to highlight the Jug’s strengths with historically inspired scenarios. 2025 changes brought improved mission flow and player survivability, with revised survival triggers to better reflect combat outcomes and reduce unintended failures. Dialogues have corrected timings, updated map visuals, and improved in-game presentation. Mission logic, including but not limited to Luftwaffe takeoff direction, was adjusted to enhance immersion. All this improves gameplay without reducing the challenge of flying the campaign’s historically inspired, combat-first design. DCS: A-10C II Outpost Campaign By Stone Sky This new entry in the Outpost series centers on modern close air support operations in contested environments over the DCS: Syria Map. Designed to make full use of the DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer's sensor and weapons suite, the campaign prioritizes coordination, situational awareness, and the employment of the unique firepower that the DCS: A-10C II can dish out in support of ground forces. Updates focused on procedures and radio discipline, removing legacy references to earlier campaigns, cutting excessive AI radio chatter, and updating radio communication logic across all missions. A mission-specific fix resolved an AH-64 takeoff issue at Al-Tanf that prevented progression late in the campaign. These changes improve situational awareness and flow, keeping the A-10C II’s CAS-focused gameplay free of unnecessary audio clutter as well as scripting distractions. DCS: F/A-18C & DCS: F-14 Iron Tide Campaign By Sandman Simulation This is a multi-aircraft campaign supporting both the DCS: F/A-18C and/or the DCS: F-14 Tomcat. Built around carrier strike group operations with the DCS: Supercarrier, it offers coordinated mission paths and naval aviation scenarios that support the cooperative nature of fleet-based modern air combat on the DCS: Syria Map. Recent updates improve the campaign's consistency and realism as you progress. CAP and escort flight logic now keep AI flights in their assigned areas. Wind conditions have been adjusted to ensure proper runway use at Ramat David. Ground war calculations have been rebalanced to better reflect the impact of air superiority over the area of operation. These changes create a more coherent and realistic campaign experience while preserving its structure. DCS: F-16C Sentry Pacific 2025 Campaign By SOB Simulations Last, but certainly not least, Sentry Pacific 2025 brings the DCS: F-16C into a modern Pacific theater over the free DCS: Marianas Map. The campaign focuses on air defense, coalition operations, and high-tempo missions. The campaign aims to simulate present-day security challenges and the ever-changing role of multirole fighters in an unstable area of operations. No updates have been released yet for this campaign, but SOB Simulations already has plenty waiting for you as we head into 2026! From WWII on DCS: Normandy 2.0 Map to modern Pacific operations on the free DCS: Marianas Map, 2025 delivered some of the most diverse campaigns in DCS history, and it only looks to continue into 2026. These releases demonstrate a continued devotion to top-notch storytelling, authentic procedures, and immersive single-player experiences, ensuring compelling content for every type of virtual combat pilot, thanks to our wonderfully talented Campaign Creators. Here is a small sampling of what our passionate Campaign Creators have planned for the DCS ecosphere in 2026! Insurrection (Operation Green Line 2) By Badger633 Currently in development, Insurrection (Operation Green Line 2) is a narrative-driven DCS: F/A-18C campaign that builds on the events of DCS: F/A-18C Operation Green Line Campaign while remaining fully accessible as a standalone experience. Set in a fictional 2016 Middle Eastern conflict inspired by historical civil unrest, the campaign covers carrier and land-based operations across the DCS: Syria Map, with a strong emphasis on immersion through strong voice acting, VR-friendly design, and detailed briefings. Options for aerial refueling, AI skill levels, time-acceleration safeguards, and custom liveries further underscore a design focused on accessibility without sacrificing depth. This campaign will be an immersive, story-rich DCS: F/A-18C experience for both new and veteran virtual pilots. DCS: F-5E Aggressors Red Flag 88-3 Campaign By Sabre-TLA Planned for release in 2026, DCS: F-5E Aggressors Red Flag 88-3 puts the player in the role of a 65th Aggressor Squadron pilot at Nellis AFB on the DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range Map, flying the DCS: F-5E Remastered as Red Air during a full-scale Red Flag exercise. Built around real-world aggressor procedures, the campaign spotlights tactical variety that features a wide range of sortie types that are supported by extensive voice acting and exceptionally detailed briefing materials. From a design perspective, this campaign will stand out for its instructional depth and authenticity. It will be an immersive tactical experience and a comprehensive aggressor training package for virtual pilots looking to master adversary air combat within DCS. F-15C Flaming Cliffs Basic Flight Training Qualification Campaign By Sabre-TLA Also targeting a 2026 release, this campaign will be a structured, evaluation-driven experience focused on mastering the F-15C Flaming Cliffs through real-world-inspired performance check rides. Players will progress across core competencies that include airmanship, procedures, navigation, formation flying, emergencies, and communications, with advancement tied to qualification standards rather than scripted outcomes. Extensive voice acting and briefing material, along with dedicated practice missions, reinforce the training-first design philosophy. This campaign will feel less like a story-driven experience and more like a formal flight syllabus, well-suited to virtual pilots who value ‘By-the-book’ procedures, repeatability, and measurable skill progression within DCS. DCS: F-16C Fangs Out Campaign By Fight's On Simulation This will be a comprehensive DCS: F-16C “B-Course-style” training campaign that takes the player from initial qualification through advanced air-to-air and air-to-ground employment, with a strong emphasis on flying as a disciplined, combat-ready wingman. With missions spanning all possible uses of the jet on a modern battlefield, the campaign will blend demanding check rides with progressive academics, extensive documentation, and fully voiced instruction informed by real-world F-16 and JTAC experience. From a design perspective, this campaign targets virtual pilots seeking a more structured and authentic skill-building experience rather than a narrative story, delivering a challenging and rewarding syllabus that emulates a real frontline transition into the DCS: F-16C. DCS: Spitfire IX Fight or Die Campaign By Reflected Simulations This campaign will continue Reflected Simulations’ DCS: Spitfire IX series by following No. 92 Squadron through 1941, a key period when the RAF shifted from defensive operations to offensive sweeps over occupied France. Centred on large-scale Circus missions and deeper cross-Channel penetrations, the campaign focuses on escalating risk, evolving tactics, and the growing confidence of Fighter Command and its pilots. This setting is an exciting choice, as it naturally supports progression, rising intensity, and historically grounded missions, making it a strong narrative and operational extension of the Spitfire’s wartime story, both in history and in DCS. DCS: F/A-18C or DCS: F-16C Operation Shifted Focus Campaign By Wildcard Simulations Operation Shifted Focus will be a fictional, geopolitically-grounded campaign set in August 1994. It will put you in the cockpits of either the DCS: F/A-18C or DCS: F-16C during escalating instability in the Eastern Mediterranean on the DCS: Syria Map. Set against Operation Provide Comfort and a fragile post-civil war Lebanon, the campaign explores a rapidly shifting balance of power after changes in Syrian leadership, as regional militias threaten to reignite the conflict. The campaign’s strength lies in its plausible alternate-history framing that blends real-world operations and locations with the growing involvement of coalition airpower. This creates a setting that feels authentic, contemporary, and well-suited for multi-role modern fighters. A-10A Flaming Cliffs & DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer Fulda Gap 1985 By Flying Cyking Fulda Gap 1985 will be a fictional Cold War-gone-hot campaign set during the opening days of a full-scale Warsaw Pact invasion of NATO, inspired by the Warsaw Pact military simulation exercise ‘Seven Days to the Rhine’. Taking place in the same shared universe as DCS: F-4E – Northern Defenders ‘Phantoms Rising’ Campaign, the campaign places the A-10 in the environment it was originally designed for: halting massed armored formations at close range over Central Europe. Featuring fully voiced, story-driven missions with day-by-day narrative progression, a wide range of CAS and strike taskings, and support for the A-10A, A-10C, and A-10C II, the campaign strikes a thoughtful balance between user-friendliness and battlefield details, making it equally appealing to new players and expert Hawg drivers alike. Along with a number of other campaigns currently in development, including new WWII offerings, Western forces over Iraq, new Su-25 Campaign and more, you can expect lots to do and enjoy with your favorite modules throughout 2026 and beyond.
