What is needed to unlock those achievements. Ways to unlock them maybe faster than you thought possible, without save scumming. Grading Master Simple facts : You don't need 500x grade 10 cards in your binder It's how many 10's you ever got back from grading that matters Graded cards can be sent to be graded again and if they come back as 10's, they DO count for the achievement You can already see where I'm going with this. An ungraded card has a 38.4% chance to return as a grade 10. Graded cards sent to grading again have : 30% their grade improves by 1 41% to keep the same grade 29% their grade decreases by 1 Consequently, a grade 10 card has 71% of coming back as a 10 that will count towards the achievement. That is much better than the 38.4% of ungraded cards. So if you want to get the Grading Master achievement fast, you can send ungraded cards for grading to get some grade 10 cards. Then you keep sending back to grading any grade 10 you have, you complete all shipments with ungraded cards to get more 10's for the next round of shipping. Rinse and repeat. You are better off not regrading cards that are not 10's. Even a grade 9 has only 30% to return as a 10, it's better to instead send ungraded cards that have a 38.4% chance to return as a 10. What I did is I graded high value cards, 2 day service. Anything that did not return with a grade 10, I immediately put for sale. Most of the 10's I did send to grading again, except a few very valuable ones that I ended up selling. Selling a 30k card pays for the next 2 shipments, and the value difference between 10 and 9 is huge. I did it that way in part because my shop was already level 102 when the new graded cards achievement got implemented. I had a good bankroll and it obviously helped. But, if you DON'T have money for the 2 day service, that's fine too. Use whichever service you can afford, the odds of 10's are the same, it'll take longer but you'll save a lot of money. I was not even 100% focusing on the Grading Master achievement in terms of what I sent to grading, I even used the 4 day service a few times. And from 100x grade 10 cards to 500x grade 10 cards, it took me only 43 in game days. For the record, getting 400x grade 10 cards from ungraded cards by using the 2 day service would take around 65 days, with average luck. Obsessed with Grades steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3592046038 Some facts : You need 10 cards. 1x grade 1, 1x grade 2 [...] 1x grade 10 It has to be 10 times the exact same card, same edition, same card set You need to hold to those graded cards, don't sell them before getting the achievement You need them in your binder for the achievement to unlock The achievement unlocks when you open a box coming back from grading IF you have your 10 cards in your binder (I suppose it would also trigger if the box you open completes the set of 10 cards, assuming you already had most in your binder) So the safest way is to pick a low value card that you have possibly 100's of copies of. Sort your collection by "amount", pick a cheap card you have tons of. You start sending copies of that specific card to grading. If you grade cards of 2 or more different stacks from your binder, it won't work for this achievement. The bottleneck won't be grade 8, 9 or 10. The bottleneck will be grade 4, 3, 2 and 1. Why? Less than 1 in 300 card returns to you with grade 2. Same for grade 1. While the grades 8, 9 and 10 are, put together, 80% of what you get from grading. You should naturally get all grades from 10 to 5, just by grading enough cards. Then it gets interesting. You could wait for a very long time before finally getting all grades that way. So what you can and should do is pile the low grades you get. Anything grade 5 or less is good. When you have a good amount of those cards, you put 1 copy of each grade you have in a display or something to avoid mistakenly grading those cards again. Then you send the excess low grade cards you have to get graded again. Each of those cards has : 30% its grade increases by 1 41% its grade remains the same 29% its grade decreases by 1That means, if you send 8x grade 5 cards to get graded again, you'll get 2-3x grade 4 back, on average. And by repeating the process, you'll work your way to having all the 10 possible grades. Don't forget to pull aside 1 copy of the new grades you get. I think it works fine if you set your cutoff at grade 5 or 6. Anything above that, don't bother regrading. Personally I did set it to grade 5, but I'm not claiming it's optimal. Rather than regrading 6's, I opted to send fresh ungraded cards when I needed more cards in the system. It worked fine, even if I was not lucky. I never pulled a natural grade 1, 2 or 3 while I was going for the achievement. Basically, horrible luck, still got the achievement pretty fast. I'm wishing you better luck! Bonus note. If after grading a bunch of ungraded cards you start with all grades from 10 to 6, then say 12x grade 5, 2x grade 4 and 1x grade 2, what should you do? Keep 1x grade 5, set it aside for the achievement. Then regrade all the other 5's, the 4's and also the 2. Why? The goal is to get a grade 1. If you were to set aside the grade 2, then you'll have to wait until you create new grade 2 cards before you start trying for a grade 1. You end up regrading grade 2 cards anyway. Might as well start trying with the initial grade 2 card you had. It might intuitively sound risky, but it is not. It might actually save you a lot of time. Good luck! Have fun! Got a question? If you still have a question about those 2 achievements after reading my guide, feel free to post a comment and ask. I'll answer if I'm able to answer. If my guide helped you, feel free to give it a thumbs up with a simple click. It always feels good to know my guide actually helped someone. May your card shop prosper! Have fun! BONUS: Graded Gold I have seen a lot of misleading info about this achievement in the discussion forums. I have even seen bad info in a guide. And I don't like that. -------------- Here's the achievement's description: "Graded Gold: Sold graded card worth more than $100,000" It is misleading, because you can sell a card worth less than $100k for $100k and get the achievement. It's the price tag that matters, not the card's value. Here's a list of things to keep in mind when going for Graded Gold. 1. Because of the required $100k price tag, the card you sell has to be a graded ghost foil card. Very likely a grade 10. There's the odd chance that a grade 9 could be worth enough to be sold for $100k, but don't count on it. 2. When it comes to this achievement, you want to open Destiny packs of any of the four types. If you're opening Tetramon packs, you're less likely to find a ghost foil card. 3. If opening Destiny packs, you'll stumble on a single ghost foil card every 10k packs on average. On top of that, god packs (1 in 100,000) contain seven ghost foil cards. It goes without saying, but having A LOT of pack opening machines is one of the main ways to get the achievement faster. 4. It rarely happens, but customers can offer you ghost foil cards when trading. Whether you want to check trade offers or not is up to you. But it is very easy to go on a 40+ day streak where you won't be offered one, even with multiple counters. Pack opening is more reliable, trades are for hardcore min maxers. And you'd be better to add one more pack opening machine than to start looking at trades. But you're the boss! 5. As mentioned in the previous sections, an ungraded card has 38.4% of returning as a grade 10. Another way to get a grade 10 is to regrade a lower grade card, possibly multiple times. It is very worth it, for this achievement at least. See previous sections for regrading % breakdown. Whether you want to regrade no card at all or to regrade any grade 5 or better is up to you. But if the first card you grade is not a natural grade 10, regrading becomes very useful. 6. You should run one of two events (play tables). One helps with full art cards value, the other helps with foil cards value. Either one will help with your ghost foil cards value. It won't magically make all your cards worth $200k+. It's more about keeping a good value for all cards. If you run those events, out of the 40 different ghost foil cards, half or slightly more than half should be Graded Gold material if they are grade 10. 7. Selling a card for $100k could be a problem if you are lucky and find it early. What helps to sell it is a higher level shop and buying shop expansions. You'll get more customers and they'll be richer on average. You can try to sell one before level 50, but it might take a long time. On the other hand, at level 80+, if you bought all the expansions unlocked at that point, selling a card for $100k is usually a matter of a few days. 8. At 50% over market value, customers refuse to buy anything. If you try to sell a $65k card for $100k, you'll never sell it. A reasonable minimal value is maybe $77k, as selling it for $100k is less than 30% over its value. Don't let that stop you from trying to sell a $70k card if you want to try! What I'm saying is, if you expect a $70k card to be sold quickly for $100k, you are very optimistic. But you don't lose anything if it does not sell, so why not? Cards worth $84k and more should be easy to sell for $100k, the markup is less than 20%, and most customers won't care. But they still have to be wealthy enough. 9. Be careful, employees whose task is to "set price" can overwrite the $100k price tag you manually set. You might want to unassign that task for a while. You might also want to make a hard save at the start of each day, just in case. If YOU goof up, please don't fire Zackery for it. That poor guy is working for you 13h/day, 365 days/year for $18k. 10. The currency you're using can impact the $100,000 price tag target. USD? No problem. Canadian dollar? That's fine too. But if you are using Australian dollar, then everything is worth twice as much and costs twice as much. And since changing currency does not allow us to cheat the achievement, it means that for Australian dollar users a card has to be sold for $200,000. If you want to know the exchange rate for the currency you are using, in USD the cheapest employee works for you for $50 a day. Or a basic play table costs $200. If those are not your prices, it means Graded Gold is not 100,000 -insert currency- for you. Apply your currency exchange rate. ---------- AN EXAMPLE OF HOW THINGS COULD GO: I recently started a new shop to get an idea of how easy or hard Graded Gold really is. Here's a screenshot from that game. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3642574316 It's day 54, my shop is level 66 and I'm holding not one but rather THREE grade 10 ghost foil cards. They are worth $81k, $84k and $100k, I took other screenshots of them individually. I had other cards too but they were not Graded Gold material. Worth noting: I never found a god pack of 7 ghost foil in that game. What you see on that screenshot is NOT the product of insane luck. I was ending days as soon as the shop was empty and opening shop the next day as soon as shelves were restocked. Not opening a zillion packs daily by extending days artificially. Day 54, level 66, I did put the 3 cards for sale for $100k each, a customer walked in and bought 2 of the 3 cards at once. I was shocked, I had no idea the same customer could buy $200k worth of cards. The next day, now shop level 67, another customer walked in and bought the remaining card. If you don't care that much about selling other cards, I recommend using one card table and having only your $100k card on it. That forces all customers interested in single cards to have a look at your valuable card. The vast majority can't afford that card, but if you are lucky and a millionaire spawns, you want them to have a look at that card. If you have 100 cards for sale at the same time, you might waste many good opportunities. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3642574434

In this Guide I am going to explain how to add funds to your save and to play with late game items or just not stress about the business aspect of this game if your into that, many guides on here kinda explain it but don't go into it fully and I found it frustrating trying to find the right stuff so I'm making my own guide. This is a first for me so please be patient, I am open to suggestions on how to improve this guide so feel free to leave a comment! If this helped you or you found yourself using my guide consider leaving a steam award for those sweet sweet steam shop points! Step 1- Check your settings Okay Folks so to start off this guide I want to explain my first big issue I ran into. Many guides stated the following- "go to your %appdata% folder then to your local low file" yada yada yada but never explain what to do if you cant even find these files windows can and always will be a "fun" tool to use, that frequently hides settings or files from its users to prevent people from playing with their own files SO! step 1. Check your settings To do this go to the lower left of your desktop and click on your windows button (I'm using windows 10) Then Proceed to click on the settings gear on the left hand side of your menu. This will open up a window showing many options for you to choose from....Ignore these. At the top of this window is a search bar! a handy dandy tool to look for things you need (Thanks windows!) In this search bar type the following- "Show Hidden Files" Click on the only option that pops up Doing so will direct you to a new menu with a lot of other confusing buttons and settings (not to worry that's why I'm here!) Next in this window your gonna go down to the section that says- "Change settings to show hidden and system files" your going to click on the "Show Settings" Button Good old windows will open yet another window (fun huh?) In this new window your going to look for a folder labeled "Hidden Files and Folders" there should be a drop down menu below it that has two options "Don't Show Hidden Files, Folders, Or Drivers & Show Hidden Files, Folders, Or Drivers" Finally your going to want to make sure that the second option is selected (SHOW) If that option is already selected move onto step two! Step 2- Find Your Save File After completing step 1 this Part is now possible as your save file will be hidden by your PC otherwise not allowing you to find the necessary file to edit Alright so now your going to go down to the bottom left again and click on your windows home button, or use the search bar directly to the right of your home button Your going to want to type and/or find "This PC or My PC" Click on that and It will open a new window (Hey! there's that word again!) In here towards the bottom will be a menu of all of your Devices and Drives etc. Your going to want to find your primary drive. Usually this is listed at the "Local Disk (C:)" Drive- Click on that This will open a window with a large list of files and folders (Don't stress It's not too bad) In here click on the following Users Your main account (usually your name/email etc) App Data Local Low OpNeonGames Card Shop Simulator (The prologue will also show up in this menu if you've played that before) In here there's a lot of files listed as "Save Game" files Look for the following files with these names savedGames_Release0.gd (this file is going to be your Auto Save) savedGames_Release1.gd (The next 3 are going to correspond to your save I.E save 1,2, or 3) savedGames_Release2.gd savedGames_Release3.gd Copy the file "savedGames_Release1.gd" Paste this file to your desktop (CONGRATS YOU'VE FOUND YOUR SAVE!) Step 3- Edit Your Save! This Part is Easy Open the following website on your favorite browser (Might I suggest Opera GX Fellow Gamers) https://www.saveeditonline.com/ This will open a save editor website (Don't worry it looks sketch but its safe) Click on the green button "Upload File" This will open a window where you'll need to find your "Desktop" this will be listed on the left hand side of this window Click it and find your copied save file you found in Step 2 Click Open This will upload your save to the website and allow you to change all sorts of options Right below the upload file button should now be a search bar with a lot of random text below it In that search bar type the following (m_CoinAmount) Your Search will now show below it text that says m_CoinAmount "number" (the number should be the value of currency you had last time you saved Click that green number Enter the new amount you would like to have in your game (Keep this number reasonable as I dont know the limits of the game, I stick to between 60,000 and 80,000) Click Okay Now click the blue button that says "Download savedGames_Release1.gd Step 4- Add The New Save Into Your Files Finally Follow Step 2 again to get back into your save folder where you copied your original save to your desktop Open your Downloads Folder Copy and Paste your "New" save to the Original Save Folder A window will pop up asking if you want to move and replace a similarly named file Click Yes AND THAT'S IT Your all ready to close down everything and launch your game normally, Open your game, navigate to your "Continue Game save" and you'll have the new amount of cash that you entered previously Enjoy folks! For obvious reasons this is cheating, I would be remiss if I did not warn people to do this at your own risk and would recommend only doing this as the game is in early access, so you as a player can help find and report bugs, issues and test later stage game items, furniture, mechanics etc quicker. Keep on Collecting and show off all your cool tetramon cards and support your favorite developers!

This guide goes over the probability checks for each rarity of cards based on what I've found in the code. This Guide So, you wanna know how rare that really cool and expensive card you just pulled actually is? Or are you here to find out what the rarest card is? Either way, this guide goes over the probabilities for each card rarity and the steps the game takes to generate the cards! (Quick Note: when I say "rarity" I mean the border type. In the code, "rarity" refers to what card pack the card came from, eg Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Rarity is more fun to say than "border type" in my opinion.) Probabilty of Each Card Rarity Here are the exact probabilities that the code gives for each rarity. Full Art: 1/400 (0.25%) EX: 1/100 (1%) Gold: 1/25 (4%) Silver: 1/12.5 (8%) First Edition: 1/5 (20%) Any Foil: 1/20 (5%) (For each rarity, getting a foil is a 1/20 on top of it. For example, a Full Art Foil is a 1/400 to get a Full Art and then a 1/20 for that Full Art to be a Foil, giving a 1/8,000 or 0.0125% chance) Here's How It Works The moment you open a pack, the game will randomly generate 7 cards. Each card goes through the following process: 1) Generate a random number between 0 and 10,000. 2) Check if the number is lower than the set probability value for that rarity multiplied by 100. (There is a set value for each rarity, basically the chance out of 100) 3) Repeat once for each rarity. The first check is always to see if the card will be Foil (1/20). From there, it'll check for the rarity. It'll check down from Full Art to First Edition. If it succeeds any, it will skip all other checks. If none succeed, it'll default to a Base Card. The type of card pack does not affect the chances of each rarity. You get the same probability for Common Packs as you do Legendary Packs as you do any Destiny Packs (with the exception of Ghost Packs). Another thing, there's no sign of any difference between Individual Card Packs and Box Card Packs (Cards from a Box Pack). All packs go through the same code to generate the 7 random cards and rarities. The Calculated Distribution If you have any study in probability and statistics, you might notice that with the method of checking each card rarity as stated above, it does depend on the previous result. If the code decided your card is a gold card, it will never try for a silver. So therefore, to get the more common card rarities, it will need to fail each other check before hand. So after crunching the numbers, the following table shows roughly how many different card rarities you'll get on average out of 10,000 cards and their respective percentage (both rounded to 2 decimal places) and sorted from rarest to most common: Card RarityNumber of Cards out of 10k% Per CardFull Art Foil1.250.01%EX Foil4.990.05%Gold Foil19.750.20%Full Art23.750.24%Silver Foil37.920.38%First Edition Foil87.220.87%EX94.760.95%Base Foil348.873.48%Gold375.263.75%Silver720.507.21%First Edition1,657.1416.57%Base6,628.5966.29% Note: this does not take into account ghosts cards or god packs as they are dependent on packs and not individual cards. They wouldn't change the values much anyways. Ghost Packs and Ghost Cards For those who don't know, there's a rare set of cards called Ghost Cards. Each pack that you open has a random chance of being a Ghost Pack. If you're opening a Tetramon pack, it's a 1/1,000 chance (0.1%) for it to be a Ghost Pack. If you're opening a Destiny pack, it's a 1/500 chance (0.2%) for it to be a Ghost Pack. If the check succeeds, the last card in a Ghost Pack will be a guaranteed Ghost Card. There's a 50/50 for it to have a White or Black background and still a 1/20 for it to be a foil. (A total of 1/20,000 (0.005%) chance for a Foil Ghost Card from a Tetramon Pack or a 1/10,000 (0.01%) from a Destiny Pack). Note: all Ghost Cards are Legendary Full Art cards. God Packs Credit to Hollowman for bringing this up. I completely missed it in the patch notes, only focusing on the graded cards. Who doesn't love a god pack? Getting all foiled cards is something that will keep card collectors going. So let's have a look into how often these will pop up for you! As soon as you open a pack, the game will generate a random number (shocking, I know..) which is called the God Pack Roll Index. This number dictates the minimum card rarity you'll get from a pack. In short, a God Pack does not always get you all foiled full arts but what the lowest rarity any card in the pack goes to. When the God Pack Roll Index is generated, it'll roll a number between 1 and 100,000. If this value falls between a chosen range, you'll get a god pack. Here's the distribution: God Pack RollChance %1st Edition0.5%Silver0.31%Gold0.25%EX0.2%Full Art0.07%Ghost Pack0.05%Foil 1st Edition0.12%Foil Silver0.1%Foil Gold0.049%Foil EX0.02%Foil Full Art0.009%Foil Ghost Pack0.001%Foiled Base0.2% It's important to note that whatever you roll here will be the guaranteed minimum, which means: You can still get foils and gold cards if you manage a 1st edition God Pack. You won't ever get a non-foil card from any foil God Pack. A Ghost God Pack roll will only guarantee a ghost card while everything else is normal odds, but the Foil Ghost God Pack roll will have every card foiled. You can still get a Ghost Pack even if you god rolled anything not guaranteeing a ghost card. If you happen to get a Ghost Pack and any foiled God Pack, the ghost card will be foil too. XP From Opening Cards Did you know that the xp you gain from opening packs all depends on what rarity of cards you get? Well, here's the xp you get per rarity of cards: Base 1 Exp First Edition 2 Exp Silver 6 Exp Gold 8 Exp Base Foil 8 Exp EX 15 Exp First Edition Foil 16 Exp Full Art 18 Exp Ghost 18 Exp Silver Foil 48 Exp Gold Foil 64 Exp EX Foil 120 Exp Full Art Foil 144 Exp Ghost Foil 144 Exp (Credit to user EndOfFile for compiling this list! Seeing How Many Packs You've Opened As of now, there's no easy way to see how many card packs you've opened. The best way I've found is by using a site called saveeditonline[www.saveeditonline.com]. 1. Open saveeditonline[www.saveeditonline.com]. 2. Locate your save file: C: Users %userprofile% AppData LocalLow OPNeonGames Card Shop Simulator savedGames_Release1.gd. (The 1 is the save file, you'll also have 2 or 3 if you've saved into them) 3. Drag and drop or open in browser the save file. The website may say you can't open them but you definitely can. 4. Search for: m_GameReportDataCollectPermanent > cardPackOpened 5. The number next to it is how many packs you've opened! I'm hoping OPNeon will add in a stats page in the future. Customer Trading Cards As of update 0.50, Customers can now sell or trade you cards! What type of card they sell or trade is dependent on your store level, meaning you can't get destiny cards without having unlocked destiny packs and ghost cards will show up more frequently when you are a higher level. Card Grading Since v0.60, we've had the ability to grade cards! (WOOOOOOOOO) Let's go over the chances of getting that sweet sweet grade 10 card! Grading ChancesOn the very day you receive your cards back from the grader, the game will determine each of the cards' grades separately. It's important to note that each service does not affect the grading. You won't get better grades using the faster service. The way the grades are determined is similar to how the Card Rarity works, in that it'll go from best to worst and keeping the best result. The chances are as follows: Good Grade: 96% 10: 40% 9: 50% 8: 50% 7: 50% 6: 50% 5: Left over Bad Grade: 4% 5: 40% 4: 50% 3: 50% 2: 50% 1: Left over Just to break this down, it'll first check if the grade will be good or bad (96% chance to be good). It'll then check a 40% chance for a grade 10, then a 50% chance for grade 9, and so on. This does mean that the grades are a dependent probability, so here are the real numbers that you should expect to get for every card you sent to be graded: GradeChance %1038.4%928.8%814.4%77.2%63.6%55.2%41.2%30.6%20.3%10.3%Regrading CardsNot many people actually know this but you can in fact sent your graded cards back to get regraded! It is pretty risky though as you only have a 30% chance for the card to increase by a single grade. Otherwise, you have a 29% chance of the card to decrease a single grade, with the remaining 41% keeping the grade the exact same. Are you sure you wanna try to make those grade 9's into some grade 10's? I wish you the best of luck attempting! (Thank you raistlin212 for pointing out my error. I totally misread the logic of code.) Disclaimer This info is subject to change by the Developer. If you see a mistake, let me know. This is from what I've concluded from looking at the code. I will not be revealing how I looked into the code. I hope this guide helps you understand what is going on behind the scenes a bit more! Big shoutout to Keldor for quoting this guide to others whenever they ask about the probabilities! And to everyone who has given me awards! You are all so very kind and I hope each and every one of you get many Ghost Foils!

Here's everything you need to know. How Much Does The Price of an Item Change? On the start of every day, there's a 40% chance for each and every item to individually change their market price. From there, it's a 50/50 whether or not the price will go up or down. The standard amount that any item can change is between 0.08% to 2%, up or down. The game will keep track of how much percentage an item has changed and has fail safes to make sure an item doesn't become super cheap or super expensive for no reason. Those hard limits are -80% and +200% from the set price an item starts off at. Also, I just want to clarify from here on out, whenever I mention a change in percentage, I am referring to the actual percent that the current market price is away from the initial price. For example, say an item initially costs $100 and is currently sitting at $50. That is obviously a -50% decrease from initial price. Now say we increase it by 20%. Some people may thing that we are increasing $50 by 20% ($60) when that's not true in this case. We are increasing the percentage by 20% (aka -50% + 20% = -30%). That -30% from the original price will now be the new market price, or $70 in this example. I hope that makes sense, but basically "a change in percent" is not from what the current market price is at. What About Cards? I'm glad you didn't ask! Cards also go through a similar process with the standard range being 0.8% to 2% increase/decrease if they succeed the 40% check. The only difference with cards is that Table Events are a thing. You may have noticed if you set up a table event, it'll say something like "(+) Common pack and card price might increase. (-) Rare, Epic or Legendary pack and card price might decrease." And it's exactly as it says. Any card that says the price might increase will increase between 0.2% to 5% and the negatively affected cards will decrease between those same amounts. However, I do want to note that this will happen before the 40% chance of doing a random amount. This can lead to the exact opposite of what the effects say if the chances roll in that favour. What is the Initial Market Price? I know I've been saying things about "initial price" because all the percentage changes do happen from that. Unfortunately, the initial price for every item won't be the same across saves. They are randomised upon starting a new game. One thing that is definite across every game is the Base Cost of every item. This is the "Cost Price" that you see when you're purchasing a box for the items. In this example, we're gonna use Basic Card Packs. They have a set Base Cost of $1.5. The first thing that'll happen is calculating the random Cost Price. It's simply: Cost Price = Base Cost * Random(1, 1.3)So the Cost Price will be anywhere between 1x to 1.3x the Base Cost, or $1.50 to $1.95. Note, the range for the random multiplication is actually between 0.9 to 1.3, however the game clamps the value to by higher than 1, so you mathematically have a 1/4 chance for the item to keep the cost price equal to the base cost. The only difference are card boxes, in which it's: Cost Price = Cost Price Of Card Pack * 8 * Random(1, 1.15)So for example, the cost price of the Basic Card Boxes are whatever the above Cost Price is for that respective Card Pack, multiplied by 8, then multiplied between 1x to 1.15x, or $12 to $17.94. Note, the range for the random multiplication is actually between 0.9 to 1.2, however the game clamps the value to between 1 and 1.15. This means there's a bias to both extremes. Next, the Market Price will be calculated. Each item has their own minimum and maximum market price multiplier, for which the Basic Pack's minimum and maximum are 1.5x to 2x. This will generate a market price between $2.25 to $3.90. (Same thing for Card Boxes) See Table Below Under "Starting Price Details Per Item" for all the calculated starting prices! From there, the market plays out as normal! The save file will keep track of all changes that do happen so it's possible to view what the initial market price was, however I don't currently have the tools to do that. Price Crashes! You may also notice that sometimes there is just a massive drop in price randomly! Yes, in this game there are some times where a "market crash" will happen. This can happen for any item or card (despite any table event going on). For a market crash to happen though, there are a few checks that take place. Firstly, the item will need to be at least 25% more than it's original market price. If it passes that, then it needs to beat a random percentage check equal to the price percentage change. Basically, if your item/card initially costs $100, and the price goes to $150, it's currently 50% more than the market price so it now has a 50% chance of causing a market crash on that item. The amount that it can crash by is between 5% and the percentage change divided by 2.1. In our example, that means it can crash up to about 24%. A similar thing can also happen to items that are -25% from the market price. It's also labelled as a market crash but it's more of a market explosion. It's the exact same process as the market crash except the other way around. For example, your $100 item now has a market price of $50. So if it passes the 50% check, it'll shoot up between 5% and 24% in price. Also, market crashes/explosions will always happen at the beginning of the day right after going through the normal market randomness process. So you may have an item that is slightly below 25% above market price but if the initial randomness process brings it over, then it very well can crash.
